The Wizard's player is not going to run a monk after all. He is going to run a Sorc/Cleric Geomancer. In talking with the DM and the Archer's Player tonight we figure that he will start to demand the ring of wizardy once again from the bard who just got it back. The DM was saying that if he...
The issue is resolved to a even better extent now. The wizard was killed In The Heart of Nightfang Spire. The party had already been involved a big fight and where low on spells when another big fight finds us. The fighter has about 13 hp left I have 19 the bard has 20 or so. The wizard leaves...
Glad you all like. What my character will be doing is making Wands of Bulls Strength, Cats Grace and Endurance at 12th level and Extended. 24hr duration and only 10125 to MAKE the three of them after split 4 ways. (Paid for by each party member.)
The ring issue was resolved during the week without my knowledge. The Bard gave the ring to the wizard. If the bard got anything in return I don't know. I'm glad it's over but I still beleive the Bard had the rightfull claim over it.
Since metamagic overlaps and doesn't stack it's [(1d4+1) * .5] + 5 = 6 or 7.
1 charge per spell per use. For half the price you could make it 2 per spell per use but charges would go even faster than they will under it's current vesion.
Staff
50 Charges
Bull Strength
Cats Grace
Endurance
Foxs Cunning
Owls Wisdom
Eagles Splendor
All spells on this staff are Maximized, Empowered, and Extended.
Market price is about 500,000 GP I think.
A group discussion has brougt up this point.
If you get CON you get retroactive hit points why shouldn't you get retroactive skill points.
I know the book says you shouldn't but why?
Where does it talk about retroactive hit points? Any increase in Con perm or temp will give you retroactive Hit points right? Where does it talk about this.
As to how the wizard came to know the Bard had the ring. He didn't. The player knew but not his current character. If any other player was the Bard he wouldn't be demanding the ring. The wizard player is twenty something and the Bard's player is 15. The wizard's player feels that any of the...
As far as the XP loss issue the wizard is more than willing to give some up if it will help the rest of the party but not the bard. If worse comes to worse the bard would stay by your side till the end. The wizard would run away at the first sign of major trouble. So who would you rather have...
I just got back from recieving life insurance and one of the questions they asked me was "Do you have any dangerous hobbies?" I thought about saying asking if D&D would count.
I think the rest of the group feels the same way I do. I hoping everything will be resolved by the end of the year. Mostly I needed to vent and get some other people to listen to this. So thanks.
The Cleric (Myself) and the Archer and even the DM feel that the Wizard has no right to the ring. The wizard would go as far as to watch the Bard get killed and then take then ring from his dead body. We're trying to stay out of it in hope that the Bard will work through this or that the guy who...
Our group is playing through the Sunless - Bastion series and we just finished The Standing Stone. The problem is that the party wizard refuses to make items for a certain player. He'll make items left and right for everyone else. It also extends to the point where he won't cast a single spell...
