Why does the Pathfinder banshee have a low Int? I'd think it would have the wits to use its deadly abilities to great effect, unless it's so tormented by its cursed existence that it affects its Intelligence. I like the homebrew stats as they are

The MM2 banshee does have excessive HD, so bringing the cariad ysbryd up to par with the Paizo version instead sounds better. freyar, is the Paizo banshee OGC?

Nope, we never did do aging. Do we just write up a PLA wherein the physical ability scores suffer a -1 penalty without the mental scores going up?

Not too big a difference in stats there so tweaking shouldn't be hard. As a creature with deathless traits we'll have to specify later the differences as per turning/rebuking, positive/negative energy, etc.

This sounds like the good counterpart to the banshee (which until 3e was exclusively an undead female elf - I remember vividly the banshee the Companions encountered in the Sla Mori in Dragons of Autumn Twilight set in Dragonlance, as well as the banshee servants of Lord Soth the death knight).

They need to feel sound with their facial skin, and hear light with their ears, but it doesn't explicitly say they are deaf, so I don't think so.

From 3.0 to 3.5 psionics acid was removed as an energy descriptor and instead of being a psychokinesis power is in most if not all cases a psychometabolism power like breath of the black dragon and dissolving touch.
