    Fixing the Sorc.

It means the qualification you pointed to was dependent on looking at other sources already prepared in a matter in which they can use. They can't convert divine to arcane and other arcane spells need to be prepared in writing in order for them to learn it. They just can't select them out of a...

    Fixing the Sorc.

It is dependent on what is dropped by someone that has done the work for them then yes they can possibly do it. This doesn't say they can do it themselves, again the DM has to be nice. So, if there is none of that they are indeed limited by the list.

    Fixing the Sorc.

Do you remember specialization? A base wizard knows all cantrips and has two spells per level of wizard+int. modifier worth of first level spells. One level of specialization adds one spell known per wizard level and has one more spell slot for each level. So a minimal specialist wizard would...

Arcane caster gaining a Divine spell?

Rainbow Servant, Complete Divine p.54, they get both the good, air, and law domains. They gain full access to the cleric list as a cap stone, a hefty cost of casting though.

    Fixing the Sorc.

The point is they are still an arcane caster, they can't select divine spells because they are divine. The rules very much imply that you can't get spells from another list unless you take the class or you have an ability that says you can. This could be used to negotiate with a DM on maybe Wu...

    Cloistered clerics and coradine monks

If he finds a cleric or organization that has done that, of course he could, but that is entirely in the DM's realm of control. Wizards of the Coast only says divine spells otherwise. He can't convert normally arcane spells into divine by himself. Heroes of Horror Excerpt

    Cloistered clerics and coradine monks

Archivists don't really get domain spells unless they are on another divine list. Domain spells have their own special slots in cleric casting, as such they could have spells from any list but still be considered divine but while not on a cleric's base one. Archivists don't have those slots so...

    The Weirding Ways (PEACH)

Okay, let me flesh it out for you. You have a class in which most of its abilities can be obtained in a level or two. You have a power in which makes the wizard writing in his spellbook look like a preschooler learning cursive. You have all skills available to you as you have no list specified...

    Fixing the Sorc.

On a base fundamental level they are suppose to be equal if not in favor to the sorcerer, but in practice the wizard comes out on top if they are resourceful. In play, because even in core, a wizard can get and even make items that replicate much of the advantages of a sorcerer not to mention...

    The Weirding Ways (PEACH)

I like the idea but there are two main issues I have with it. One, is the all of the abilities should have a point cost and should probably be selective. The other is that it has massive outside battle/leveling power potential. Aside from having factotum skills you have instant learning/scribing...

    Cloistered clerics and coradine monks

All divine spells, not domains, on top of domain abilities domains grant spells they may very well be on other lists including sorcerer/wizard list, even though they aren't on a cleric list you get them because they are in your domain. Your God makes them divine for your use.

    Cloistered clerics and coradine monks

Well an Archivist is powerful(the dread secret power is quite handy and hilarious at the same time), but a cloistered cleric gets 3 domains, turn undead, spontaneous cure/inflict spells, and more spells against the archivist.

    Scroll's caster level???

Whatever it says it is. I really don't mean to be coy. It is a magical device so as such it has its own magical capabilities and statistics infused into it in order to cast the spell it has written.

    Lycanthropy

A good non-gestalt option would unarmed swordsage 4/barbarian 2/fist of the forest 3/weretouched master 5/bloodclaw master 3/x. Any natural attack is done at your highest attack bonus and gains full strength bonus, manuevers, and a base speed of 60. It also manages to squeeze in more shifting...

    Lycanthropy

Personally, take a shifter(Races of Eberron) and a weretouched master(Eberron Campaign Guide) it is much more cost effective. They also develop better attacks and have other options via different shifting and have incredible barbarian synergy. You can't shift at will but every shifter feat you...

    Lycanthropy

Whenever you deal with Lycanthropy you also pay the equivalent hit die of the animal you want to turn into. The differences is that naturals gain more damage reduction and can inflict it if they want to. There are spells and PrC's that mess with being natural may give a bit more resistance, but...

    Poison Questions I got

I think it might be because secretly all of us love the idea of striking the BBEG with a little knick and visulaize him writhing in agony if just once.

    Help with primeval

VoP isn't really necessary, as you said just be a dwarf your speed changes anyway. This frees up more fist of the forest and any monk should have improved natural attack. Dragon magazine has beast strike that adds claw or slam damage to unarmed strike. I would say scrap the chaos monk and...
