    Character Buillder updates?

Are you modififying an existing monk character, or starting a new one? I can see it when I start a new one, and it's not likely you'd miss it.

    Assassin - Soul Theft

It's a free action with no specifically stated trigger. I'd let you use it after the roll.

    Ranger|Seeker infinite damage combo (funny)

Also... you need to reload the Crossbow at some point, don't you?

    Can you miss on purpose?

A pacifist struggling with choices... nah... no way that could be fun or interesting.

    Can you miss on purpose?

That would depend entirely on how they played it. Again, that depends on how they play it. Though, as I said, it 'doesn't sit well.'

    more monk questions: staffs, clubs

Psionic Powers drops in August (along with the Dark Sun products coincidentally). I remain optimistic. :)

Magic Missile as a Ranged Basic Attack

Try again. A search on "windrise" should get you 4 regional feats.... though I don't quite get what's borked about 'em.

Something like... Rule As Written Rule As Intended

    Does the shardmind seem overpowered?

I can't find it anywhere... perhaps sorren24 was making a Psion and mistook the Send Thought power for the racial ability?

Any weapon with the spear keyword, i.e. in the spear group.

The rule regarding the action point is the exception to rule that says you can only use actions from one full discipline in a round. You can use any action within a single full discipline provided that you have the actions available to do so.

    Can you miss on purpose?

All the ways people tried to argue their way around what counts and what doesn't... is a Holy Symbol carved into his chest worth gold... cheese... Saw some interesting concepts though. I concede that that is what the rules say. Doesn't sit well though. Get off my lawn.

    Can you miss on purpose?

Just to be sure I understand your point correctly. You are saying that the you, in the text "whenever you hit or miss a bloodied enemy and deal damage to it" specifically has to be you, the Cleric PC? You are saying a summoned or conjured entity, summoned or conjured by your Attack Power or...

Gaining Insight via Companion Characters (Played by PC's)

Very cool idea. Thanks for sharing.

    Can you miss on purpose?

My Beastmaster Ranger Pacifist Cleric Hybrid loves you, though I think it's cheesy. The RAW reading of "whenever you hit or miss a bloodied enemy and deal damage to it, you are stunned until the end of your next turn" is open to debate, but the RAI... this all reminds me of 3.x Vow of Poverty...

    Everburning torch?

You can make an argument that any room with a light source is not dark... but I think that's were DM adjudication comes in.
  17. Mort_Q

    Everburning torch?

Correct. I think the argument is that torches shed bright light for 5 squares... but the 6th square isn't suddenly dark. I think the house rule I've seen mentioned is that a bright light source has an equal number of dim squares... so a torch would be bright within 5, and dim between 6 and...

Bat Aside vs. solo monster (or last man standing)?

I'm not arguing with the RAW interpretation. I know what it says. I'm arguing that the power as written is needlessly limited.

Bat Aside vs. solo monster (or last man standing)?

Can't agree. No slide, no prone allies; that'd I'd buy. No allies, no slide; that I can't.
