Mainly because CS is a bunch of crack monkies. But hey, if you can munchkin your DM into letting your barbarian DR reduce damage from spells more power to ya.
If you ready an attack you only get one attack and not any AoO from the action you're interrupting.
Can't remember if it was in a FAQ or just a Sage response.
Someone specifically asked if you get both the readied attack and an AoO on a spell caster. The answer was just one attack.
My shaman is a front line fighter. I haven't gotten a decent animal companion yet for our level but you don't have to either. I took the Unicorn clan with Way of the Unicorn and a naginata. +3 when mounted to hit.
Wear the best armor you can, use Bull Str, and other AC buffs. When you want...
1. Nope, but not allowing Str bonuses as a house rule isn't unreasonable.
2. Yes.
2.A. Also not an unreasonable house rule.
3. Depends how you view the counter attempts. If you view them as them attempting to trip at the same time or just resisting and the attacker screwing up. I'd allow...
You can do that. The creature gets a Will save in this case.
It still won't cause any vision problems. The spell doesn't allow for it.
Anyway the Object radiates light not a specific point on the object .
If you cast it on an invisible creature (50% miss change if you get the correct square) I wouldn't allow that to allow others to pinpoint the square.
No, Daylight can't blind anyone unless they have a light sensitivity in their creature description.
The fairest way would be to duplicate the spell again.

This allows the spell its doubled duration without slowing down the damage done. This was the general consensus with this topic before after MoTW came out and people...
No because your mount isn't hasted. You want to partial charge with your Haste action before your normal one and your mount doesn't have a normal one yet and can't move.
The +2 to attack for the whole round is open to debate. Some DMs allow it and other don't.
and why Infusions are broken. No DM I know allows them. Oh well...
All the dreams of instant Call Lightning and Ressurections have been popped.
You can also make an infusion for no cost but XP. Another reason they're broken.
An animal has an Int of 2 and isn't smart enough to bluff by pretending to be a friend.
Also pointed out was the fact that you know when a creature failed/made a saving throw against your spell.
Problems:
1. When you charge you have to stop and attack as soon as you threaten the opponent.
2. A Charge is a specific action not allowed by Spring Attack (this is the usual reasoning for not allowing it).
Can't remember the others off the top of my head. Seen the topic several times though.
Re: Re: Hold the line and reach weapons (simon STAY OUT!!!)
Monte and Bruce said this as has Skip. Although in the guise of The Sage all Skip as ever affirmed is the rule book wording.
