    Can a stance be maintained when knocked unconscious?

    Sure it does. It just doesn't work if you're at 0 HP or less. The only way in the rules to end a Stance is to choose to end it, the Encounter ends, 5 minutes passes, or you use another stance.

    And I think two of the opposite actions; is. Remember, your round takes place over 6 seconds, the same 6 seconds everyone elses does. In effect, you're saying every time they use their sword (multiple swings/blocks per 6 seconds represented by one attack) they switch their grip.

    You may just not have the ally spend their action point so at the mile stone you don't need to worry about it, otherwise, yes, I'd give them their AP back. Leave the kobolds an escape route and on their action they run away. Maybe a really small crack or tunnel they have to Squeeze to move...

    Just 1 although I require a 2 squares verticle to be over a medium sized creature.

    Yes. A swarms movement provokes as normal except when entering or moving through an enemy's square.

    Of course not. Taken from The New England Skeptical Society - Articles The spell/power in question creats an area that causes damage. DMG p44,61 make it clear it's Hindering Terrain and they get a saving throw if forceably moved into it.

    I think a little use of common sense can allow Mage Hand to fly but not all spells that say "may move x squares". If a player argues why x spell can't when Mage Hand can, simply "reply common sense and balance" and move on. :)

    Versatile Weapons - am I reading it correct?

    Versatile weapons are one-handed. When using them two-handed who get the +1 damage (unless you're a halfling) and all your one-handed feats/abilities apply. You do not get the additional damage from Power Attack either, because it's a one-handed weapon.

    Sometimes we get a Skill check with a high DC to find out who's a minions and we're never told outright. I can't imagine telling players outright. All that suspense gone... even if creatures are treated like minions except for getting a couple extra hitpoints, the fact they don't pop right...

    It's considered as if the spell were cast seperately on the caster and the familiar with any random effects rolled once. False Life will give each the same number but damage done to one of them won't effect the HP remaining on the other.
