Ship ideas
I will be using the Tramp Freighter Captain template from Galaxy Guide 6: Tramp Freighters for my character. I think I might go with a Duros pilot, but if we have no other humans, I can go with that instead (at least one human will make "negotiations" with the Empire a little...
Hey guys. Sorry for the delay, but I was on vacation and school started this week. I will try to post my character soon.
As a heads up, I just started a nursing program and that will tie up a lot of my time, but I will try to post as often as I can. My new laptop will help!
Ya read my mind! I'd love to be the pilot of the heap..er...ship we'll be galavanting about the galaxy!
I'll peruse the books I have for any races that might be cool, but I might just stick with a human.
Wow, a blast from the past. I would defintiely be interested, but sadly I do not have the M
&M rules either. I DO have the Space:1889 rulebook (mint condition, mind you! :D ). If you have room for another, I do have a character idea but would need a character made up for me.

Giving up my spot
Hey guys:
Sorry for the delay, but RL has intervened, so rather than be an infrequent poster for a bit, I'll give up my slot in the lineup. I'll be watching the action once it starts, tho!!
Thanks.
I'll toss my hat into the interested ring. I'm OK with a cleric or fighter, so I might just post one of each and see where we stand (assuming, of course, I'm chosen!)
Just finished General Pharmacology yesterday, so I should have some free time until next semester to read something other than textbooks! I've been eyeing the House of Nicolo series by Dorothy Dunnett, but some historical fiction can get dry. Any recommendations for a fantasy book or series? :D
I do appreciate the sentiment, but I'm no businessman! Kudos to the WOTC gang for doing as well as they have!
As for my point about starting with a stripped down d20 system, does anyone else think that is what should have been done first, then publish books fleshing out more specific campaigns...
True enough! :)
I guess I should have said that WOTC should have come out with a set of rules as basic as True20 for 3e initially, then added bits to flesh out the system for indiviual GM or player tastes.
As for HP in True20, I have to agree. Maybe just use the VP/WP route from Unearthed...
Just gonna throw my 2 cents in for both Warhammer Roleplay v2 and for True20.
For me, True 20 is what D&D should have been. Exceptionally adaptable without getting buried in undigestible crunch.
My personal favorite is WFRP2. Fast, simple, yet maintaining a lot of the character of v1. This...
Almost 40 and going back to school to become a nurse. Been working in a local ER and love every minute of it. (Previously an editor in film/video post-production).
Thanks
I appreciate the opportunity, Professor. At least I'm an alternate, so I will most definitely be keeping tabs on this adventure!
Good luck, guys. :D
Finished Kr'taal's sheet (see previous posting)
I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything. If I did, please let me know.
I hope he makes the cut!! [crosses fingers for luck] :)
I agree with Eluvan, it would be helpful. :)
Also, regarding Torillan, if the bandit in R15 isn't hit, I'd like to take advantage of an AoO if possible. Although, if he only moves or withdraws, he wouldn't get that.
