D&D 5E (2014) The Circle of the Drake, Dragons are natural, too

Oh, heh, whoops. Forgot to put in the "all other restrictions of Wild Shape are still in effect" line. I meant that to balance out a lot of that. Sent from my iPhone using EN World mobile app

D&D 5E (2014) The Circle of the Drake, Dragons are natural, too

Again, dumb names aside, I realize this feels like the Circle of the moon a lot, and that you have to wait a bit to get your hands on draconic wild shapes, but I think this still turned out well, but Ill let you be the judge of that. Let me know what you think. Druid: Circle of the DrakeThe...

D&D 5E (2014) The Blade Domain; Stabby Clerics

Okay, dumb titles aside, this is meant to be a melee cleric that uses swords. I drew heavy inspiration from the Blade Bard and Hexblade Warlock, with a little bit of the Berserker Barbarian. I'll admit, the root of this idea was to have a class that automatically got the Shadow Blade spell at...

    D&D 5E (2014) Stout Halfling as a Half-Dwarf, Half-Halfling

This is really more fluff than anything, but I think is a cool idea. It does pose one mechanics question, access to Dwarven Fortitude. What you think. Sent from my iPhone using EN World mobile app

Coming in May: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes! [UPDATED!]

Uh, just a thought. What do you think is the likelihood we'll see a Genazi and/or Aarocokra reprint? Both have ties to elemental PLANES, and in Aa's case, them having flight doesn't rule them out because Avariel might wind up in there. This would obviously make the EEPC completely useless...

Coming in May: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes! [UPDATED!]

Eh, we'll see. It might, but I also believe Volos may have been smaller. Sent from my iPhone using EN World mobile app

Coming in May: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes! [UPDATED!]

Dear Mr Charlaquin, We are the internet, and we have some news for you... In all seriousness, I get the complaint, but it just human nature to judge by comparison. Really the way I think I've avoided it because I got into DND with 5e and know absolutely nothing about past editions.

D&D 5E (2014) The Brawler; who doesn't like some good old fashioned fisticuffs?

I FINALLY FOUND A NICHE I CAN MAKE A FIGHTER SUBCLASS OUT OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been wracking my brain for an idea for MONTHS! Today, it finally hit me. Unarmed Combat. I tried to stay off the monks toes as much as I could, and I think I succeeded. Hopefully this isn't too much like the Brute...

D&D 5E (2014) Dragonborn Pit Fighter; What class?

So, I recently had a spark of inspiration to design a pit fighting organization (possibly a drag-drop module, we'll see) so I started designing NPCS (mainly fighters, but also a couple managers/organizers). One of these NPCs is a white dragonborn fighter named Kalandon. Kalandon is going to be...

    Warlock Patron: the Ice Queen

Cool ;P. I don't exactly have any advice I can give. You have a solid patron here. Sent from my iPhone using EN World

Coming in May: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes! [UPDATED!]

I may be wrong about this (still new to DND, don't k ow any past edition lore) but the cover person looks like an Erinyes to me. I know they typically have angel wings, but other than that, I would think it's a deva-turned-devil. Sent from my iPhone using EN World mobile app

D&D 5E (2014) The Frostmage; for Cold Hearted Sorcerers

Thanks for the feedback. Like I said in the original post, I have a replacement idea for Wintery Armor, that involves movement speeds, and us somewhat based on Armor of Agathys. Sent from my iPhone using EN World mobile app

D&D 5E (2014) Exandria Metals: Uses for Orichalcum and Strife Iron

So, I love Critical Role, and I love the Tael'Dorei Campaign guide. I like that that it introduced three new materials to be used for stuff; whitestone, orichalcum, and what I call Strife Iron. For those of you who don't have the campaign guide, or haven't come across these material yet, here's...

Coming in May: Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes! [UPDATED!]

Monsters will be cool, but I'm for one hoping for a handful of races, even if I'm expecting it to be relatively small. 130 pages of monsters and all. Sent from my iPhone using EN World

D&D 5E (2014) The Frostmage; for Cold Hearted Sorcerers

Before anything, I apologize for the cheesy reference in the lore section (you'll see it). I wanted to have a dramatic phrase to finish of the fluff, so I was running through things like "frost is in your veins," or "your heart is cold as winter." Then I thought of that, and figured why the heck...

D&D 5E (2014) The Warrior, a martial option for rogues

Okay, I've updated this thing. I saw the agreement about ditching Fighting Style and giving them something else. I also saw the suggestion to shift the Combat Master ability down to 3rd, but that seemed rather powerful to me. Even with Swashbuckler there is a restriction that early, and for my...

D&D 5E (2014) The Divine Sleuth; Holy Rogues

Yeah, that name is a major work in progress (taking suggestions). I have no idea why I'm on a rogue kick lately, but, like the Mind Walker, Blood Agent, and Warrior, I liked this concept and printed it out. Let me know what you think. Rogue: Divine SleuthRogues do not always have to use...

D&D 5E (2014) The Warrior, a martial option for rogues

Typo, now fixed. I'll admit, part of this was I liked the concept of a rogue that got a fighting style and kind of mimicked the fighter.
