I'm a big fan of Traveller in general. I like all editions and timelines of the period. I even enjoy the variants with the exception to T20. While I have it, it appealed to me the least; however, I'll play if it a group wants to do it.

My UA lasted for a long time before I got rid of it.

I prefer a steady rate because I want my campaigns to go from 1st to 20th level in about 2 - 3 years based on our game habits.

Something far better than that. All that is just point and click, get a map and zoom in on it. If the map wasn't created with vectors, then the resolution becomes terrible. What I propose kind of the same premise, but it will work more like Google maps than Google Earth.

I agree with you on this. I thought all his 3.x stuff was awesome and a half and would have loved to see his line go into Pathfinder. Numeria doesn't hold any interest for me though, but wish him well on his endeavor.

I never had a problem with the iconics. I never used them in my games and I always played campaigns where whatever they did in their stories never impacted the games I ran. It's not like the campaign settings were written that the DM should use them as Mary Sue's to rescue the player characters...

Thunderstone does look to be an interesting game.

I DM because I love it. I enjoy spending hours reading, writing and prepping for the best game of the session. Playing is fun, but DMing is awesome.
