This might have been answered earlier in the thread: how extensive is the adventure? Is it a Phandelver scale starter campaign, playable for a longer period, or just a short one shot thing?

Your metrics feel off. Scarcity is not related to anything beyond interest. Remember that it is essentially an extension of CR fandom. That doesn't necessarily translate to people playing it. I mean look at Avatar and Cosmere. Huge Kickstarters. Who is playing them?

I think they could have issued new printings with new art a la the black border 2E stuff and it would have been fine. The half edition nonsense created more problems than it solved.

Based on the lead time in this kind of product (which I have worked on) Paizo is not getting any useful feedback for the next "issue."

You can pick multiple things.

I think the beginner GM book should have been in a really robust starter set and the actual DMG should be the reference at the table.

Right but people are advocating for here is the idea that anyone who chose to play a Warlock signed up for an intrusive boss, which is more of a problem (and more work for the GM) that a Paladin's Oath or a clerics extremely nebulous "devotion" -- for a class that by the fiction should have LESS...
