Does anyone else have a problem with D20 missile?

Wouldn't you use the rules for striking an object in their hand if they had a bow instead of the rules for normally sundering an object?

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Hey, I'M a dual pistol wielder in Shadowrun!! Niro, with 14pts in Pistols, and 4 in assult rifles. Only 4 body, but a smokin 8 charisma! :) Walk confidently and carry a clipboard is my motto, it'll get you into more places then heavy security armor. Suck on my dual predators corp skum...

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Well, it's *hard* but that's reflected in the DC of the skill. I still think pickpocket is the appropriate skill to use.

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Because they don't think outside the box! :) I don't expect someone to be able to lift my tent from my backpack, but a sword is made to be drawn and it's in the open so I think pickpocket is the appropriate skill here. A bastard sword in a sheath can't be that hard to draw.

Ah, I see. That's silly, you should always be able to try a skill like pickpocket.

    Monks disarming.

Thanks, I was just working on some tactics for a pair of 4th level Monks in my game. I was thinking that disarming the fighter would be nice since he usually dual wields. Can you use flurry of blows with a quarterstaff? It seems like it'd be a Monk weapon. I thought this was errata'd...

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

I didn't say they couldn't try, I just see pickpocket as being the best way around it. Half the rogues don't even take it.

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

A fighter could always do a dex check at the same DC as the pickpocket... I just don't see a fighter being very good at pulling something off someone. Nowhere in the pickpocket discription does it say that it's limited to small items, that's just the sample DC. It's not useable all the...

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Lifting someones wallet (not designed to be pulled out quickly in combat) while their walking is probably just as tricky as pulling out their longsword (designed to be pulled out quickly) in combat. That's the closest skill there is to "taking something out of someone's pockets"

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

You could also pick-pocket the mages spell-components pouch, that would hurt them big time. I'm beginning to like a pure pickpocket DC instead of a reflex too. If a rogue is next to you it's always good to just kill him outright and not worry about it. Plus he has to use an action to do it...

    Monks disarming.

What size is your hand when you disarm? If you disarm with a rapier and have a free hand is that enough to grab the weapon or can you only grab with the hand you disarmed with?

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Quick-draw is already useful in numerous other ways. For instance when he's attacked he can drop the longspear and pull out his two weapons and still get a full attack. It doesn't allow you to take an action mid-turn.

    (DC 10 + one-half caster level + caster's Wisdom modifier)

An Aasimar PC in my campaign started at 18 wis, 16 levels later he had 30 wisdom and spell focus enchantment. So the DC still went up higher.

    Item Creation & CL

I think a weapon of spell storing specifically states you must be 12th level. I believe that's a good example of a specific rereq. The CL is only an indication of the normal caster level you find on a certain item. IE, randomly generated.

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Shh!! You just nevermind that!! :) Yeah, it's silly. But even a 10th level rogue will still have less then +20 on his check because there isn't any items that add to it that I know of. Some things the game system just isn't designed to handle I guess. As DM's we must suffer with all...

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Here is what I'll probably do: Pickpocket DC20 for the rogue to snatch a readied weapon from a sheath. It's meant to be pulled out quick and easy without fuss so that's why I have the DC that low. DC15 reflex save for the fighter to figure out what's happening and "move" it out of the way...

    Best one-shot character

My favorite was a high-level evil game that we only played for one night. There was a human fighter/blackguard, a barbarian Troll, and I was a sorceror. I had vampiric touch and a ring of wizardry III.... Hehe. The troll was my lifeforce sap before battles with my 12 or 13 3rd level spells...

    Wrathful Healing weapon enhancement

Yoiks! My PC would have loved that in the Temple of EE. 12-20x2 crits with a falchion and now he could have gotten 12-25hp back with each swing? I don't like that weapon. Ouch... I don't think the energy damage should count. Holy or unholy might, but I'd lean towards only pure weapon damage.

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Well, the fighter has a reach weapon and quick draw. He always gets the AO's and then doesn't suffer at all when they get up close by needing a MEA to unsheath. I just wanted to put in a penalty of some sort and have the goblins use some decent tactics. How many times in the movie does the...

    Pulling out someone elses weapon.

Lifting a money-bag and lifting a dagger at the ready shouldn't be any different. If a pickpocket can lift things securely held in inner pockets, etc. I think it could also draw a weapon out of another persons sheath. DC20 to lift a small object from someone without them noticing, and the...
