Goodman Games to publish a 4e print magazine under the GSL

That is fine, I have agreed and moved on about KQ, however we don't just print one 4e article and call it a 4e magazine. Many of our articles offer tips and practical advice for campaign creation and things of that nature. Articles like this transcend edition. In our last issue we had a...

Goodman Games to publish a 4e print magazine under the GSL

Actually, we at Dragon Roots have a special agreement with WOTC to use the GSL and the OGL for printing both 3.x and 4e material in the same pages, even though the GSL prohibits this. Our last issue, which came out in October, was printed under the OGL and the GSL and contained both 3.x and 4e...

Goodman Games to publish a 4e print magazine under the GSL

I don't like being the bearer of bad news but this magazine is NOT the only print magazine licensed under the GSL that prints 4ematerial as they claim. Dragon Roots print and pdf magazine is licensed under GSL and the OGL and prints both 3.5 and 4e material and is at least 70 pages high quality...

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

As an aside, think on this. In 4e, page 60 of the PHB it states, "As a cleric, the deity (or deities) you choose to revere..." so a paladin has to worship one god but a cleric can worship as many as they like. Now how much does the god like the cleric, lol :)

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

Well, I guess it depends on how you look at it. My friend and I were writing an article about paladins and clerics and he went nuts complaining that clerics are held in a higher regard. So, yes, a joke between my friend and I but a serious matter concerning our content for the article :)

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

Well, you're assuming the call didn't get out sourced to India. "Hello, your patron diety is on vacation this week, before I leave him/her a message, can I verify your account information?" :)

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

Nope, everything even down the board. If it helps, let's say they are naked.

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

Okay, let's say they are twins with the exact pious level and devotion, etc.

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

In this instance just assumethey are the same level and praying for the same thing.

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

I skewed the results by saying paladins are better just because I know he will log in and say cleric:lol:

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first?

A Paladin and a Cleric are praying to the same god, which is heard from first? My friend and I are debating which the gods listen to and bestow favors on first, or both. I contend that a god would treat each equally as they are both servants of that god. He contends that the cleric is the...

Asgard Magazine: Should it be Revived?

Magazines of any nature are a tremendous amount of work, as I found out when I created Dragon Roots Magazine. Like KQ, it is a third party magazine. Unlike KQ, we host a great many articles written by gamers. In fact, that is part of our title, Dragon Roots Magazine: for gamers by gamers...

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

    Ah, I get it now.

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

I understand that. What I don't understand is this. here you claim you can create a fighter with no fighter encounter powers or dailies 4 fighter utilities and one at-will. That is what I don't get. :erm:

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

Well, it says when you level you can change the feat as if you just took it but it also says, in that case, you gain back the power you just switched. So how do you read it giving you the ability to swap all of your powers? Am I missing something?

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

I agree with you on that too. I understand the need to not front load the multiclassing system by giving proficiencies and all class features, but I think there should be a solution over time to offer all class features to a multiclass character and not just a taste of one of them once a day.

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

Are you reading that correctly? When I read the power swap feats you can only swap one power from your base class, not freely pick between all your powers over time to swap them all out.

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

This is why I started to take a closer look at multiclassing to begin with. Swordmage and wizard are like peanut butter and jelly, mmm, good. I figured shield for utility but you also can't beat disintegrate for a power offensive daily at just about any level and the wizard has plenty of good...

What is your thoughts on multiclassing?

I get it now. I wasn't refering to your system, sorry, I was refering to the current 4e system. That is where is says your first power you gain is an at-will useable once per day and your futures feats swap out your powers rather than something like gain an attack encounter power usable once...
