We were still providing DMG playtest feedback in mid-August.

    D&D 5E (2014) Battlemats?

I use a battlemat and various Flip-mats, since I have a sizable collection of the D&D prepaints (like, all of them). But then, I've been using Battlemats and figures for nearly all my games for over 32 years. It's not an easy habit to break.

D&D 5E (2014) Does 1d4 damage from basic poison (100gp) cause poison condition?

In the DM Basic PDF, there are various creatures that do poison damage, only some of the induce the Poisoned condition, and then on a failed save. The Poisoned condition might be for only one round or for up to an hour.

D&D 5E (2014) Does 1d4 damage from basic poison (100gp) cause poison condition?

I expect we will see more about poisons in the DMG, and the MM. I hope we see poisons that induce the poisoned condition, cause damage round after round, induce blindness, or maybe some other conditions. And no, taking poison damage does not mean acquiring the poisoned condition, any more than...

    D&D 5E (2014) Where are the PDFs?

The bold seems a bit harsh. Have they actually refused to provide PDFs, or just not provided them yet. They have not refused to publish the DMG, they are still working on it.

House Rule for Healing in 5th Edition D&D

While the above look reasonable, I fully expect to see a lot of variant healing rules in the DMG.

The invisibles are extra rare. And there are 8 in all: 1,2,and 46-51.

D&D 5E (2014) Icons of the Realms Tyranny of Dragons Miniatures

Double check your packaging. It's possible the little bag containing your Deva Angel is stuck to one of the plastics that contained the large figures. I had several bags try to hide from me that way. I noticed that each brick within the case contained exactly one invisible figure (btw, one of...

Mine are mostly organized by type for most of the large and smaller. Larger are just on shelves. Open bin examples are bulk dwarves for NPC groups (red) and PC dwarves (white)

D&D 5E (2014) Icons of the Realms Tyranny of Dragons Miniatures

The sizes I gave are all from the Base sizes (1/2, 1, 2, 4 inch) The Giants are closer to Huge in height. Likewise, the Orog is 2" tall, but on a 1" base. The gargantuan Brass Dragon is on a 4" base, but the figure is closer to the size of the previous D&D Miniatures huge dragons.

D&D 5E (2014) Icons of the Realms Tyranny of Dragons Miniatures

I have made a Set List. Note they are grouped by rarity (33-44 being Rare, 45-51 being Fixed, and all Invisibles being Extra Rare) and size. Only the Invisibles of 46-51 can be found in the Boosters. 1/45 Rock Gnome Female Wizard (s) 1/45 INVISIBLE Rock Gnome Female Wizard (s) 2/45 Stoutheart...

D&D 5E (2014) Icons of the Realms Tyranny of Dragons Miniatures

Quality and plastic are just like the Pathfinder minis, though the colors are not as bright. They do not identify on the figure which set they are from, just name, number, copyright date Wizkids/NECA, TM & copyright Wizards.

D&D 5E (2014) Icons of the Realms Tyranny of Dragons Miniatures

I picked up a case of the new D&D minis. Here are a few observations: There are 4 figures in a booster. One large, the other 3 might be small, medium, or may include another large. The names and numbers are VERY difficult to read, as they are (mostly) molded on the base bottom in small font...
