GMS has recently posted that he has been diagnosed with skin cancer and will, of course, be concentrating on getting fit and well. Expect an update sometime in February.

I've been playing around with it but can't get it to work out the two-weapon fighting with weapon finessed magical weapons properly. I am doing this right? PC has (amongst other feats) Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus (Rapier), Weapon Specialisation (Rapier), Two Weapon Fighting. His BAB is +9/+4...

But D&D and Star Wars are brands that the general public are, invariably, aware of (even if they aren't gamers). d20 Modern, for better or worse, is very much outside of the mainstream, even in roleplaying circles.

That makes sense. I went through my notes earlier and I interviewed Peter Adkison at Gen Con UK 2002 (you can read it here) when he announced his plans for the brand.

Going from memory, I recall Gen Con UK 2003 being run by Gen Con LLC (although they outsourced every to UK groups (the ill-fated Raven ran the RPG Area). That bombed massively (due to a move of date from late August to Easter - against all the advice of the time) and Gen Con LLC called it a day...

Well they used to have that in Gen Con, but sold it ;)

I've already posted my comments on the issue over at RPGNow (in the form of a review), but I'd like to second the comments above. Without being nasty, if I want fantasy pirates, there are numerous, readily available, publications that I can choose from. Buccaneers & Bokor is the only publication...
