The new art must be around the 50% from the negative reason pie of why I don't buy WotC books other than the core ones. For me it's very important and I find the new art very far away from my tastes.

Hmmm... it's seems a bit contradictory from you part to state that C&C is broken and then claiming no wish of converting anyone away from C&C. You say that C&C is bad, then say you don't want to tell anyone if it's good or bad. It's contradictory. If you don't want to back up your statments...

I'm not from the US, but when I visited NY to see my brother and went out for a bit of shopping, I saw guys from the navy everytime I went to the "Compleat Strategist".

Maybe because people, when troubled, go directly to the forums, instead of reading the "philosofical" text parts from the book.

I swiched to C&C because D&D didn't looked like D&D anymore.

This system is a great general FIX to D&D 3.5 that becomes a real headache at higher levels. One suggestion: I would make progression up to level 6 slower. Maybe awarding 50% XP or 25% or even less. It would bring much more consistency to a setting where this are the rules of the universe, lol.
