Level 13 mmm? Here's my five...
1) Grapple with colossal vermin.
2) Pit trap with water filled pit.
3) Wand of mount and jump spell, and a cliff...
4) Top of the mountain, giant archers with +1 bows of distance. Cleave at close range.
5) Druid schwerepunkt. (four low level druids buffed...
When you use magic missile, it automatically hits the neck and only leaves two puncture wounds.
Fireball aftermath smells like Mesquite.
Your shield spell has rivet marks.
Your shield spell is rimmed with magical symbols.
You mage armor glows blue.
Been thinking about it...
Half-ogre fighter-warhulk tripping/cleaving spiked chain weilding thingies with permanent enlarge (you pay for the spell to be cast on you).
I agree, in a seven party group, kill the bard. Have all of the creatures concentrate their fire on the bard. And after the bard falls, pound the bard again, just to make sure. Then kill the cleric or druid.
Human. Sudden feats, take as many as you can. Take all the feats you can to increase the amount of spells you can cast per day. Take Extend spell and the other feat that increases duration even further (for buffs). No time for a prestige class when you are concentrating on dealing death and...
5a) Retreat.
5b) Practice pursuit.
5c) Attack.
5e) Practice scry and fry on the PC's.
I like giving the PC's full options. To buff or not to buff. It makes the game more interesting for me, because it's a challenge to react to the PC's, and that's fun for me.
Druid1: Look they're...
I suggest a druid. Either a wild shaper (who hates his human form) or a summoner (prefers summoned creatures to fight for him).
Raised by wolves, he or she comes forth more feral than civilized.
Or a city druid, that cares for rats and such.
Or a dwarven caver an underground druid.
Ahh... but the sound is "Ptang " if you are facing an anime ninja, which just parried the cannon ball.
Anime ninjas are capable of "flipping out and killing things" even if they are red paste, oddly enough.
Regular ninjas, well... no. SPLORCH.
On a sinking ship in the storm of the century.
In your mind to avoid being possessed.
On a rickety collapsing stone bridge at night during a lightning storm.
In a hospital (or healing center)
On a cliff in high winds. Really high winds.
In the eye of the hurricane as lightning crawls up the...
That I agree with.
Levels 1-40 is my favorite. From defending your village, to the province, to the country, to dimension is a variety of adventures just waiting to be done. The unfolding development of characters is truly fascinating. To just stick to the low levels may be fine for some...
Okay. Forget the "T" right now. Retrace your steps and re-explore the areas you went and look for other leads to level up. Then go and get it after getting one or two levels. Trust me you need it.
Brown Bess (A musket) needed 85 grains to propel a one ounce musket ball...
That's 4630 grains for 300 grams.
So, you can fire 54 times with a brown bess... Under the right conditions it should do more than 1D6 damage. But if the conditions are wrong 1D6 seems about right.
