No no no! Good fantasy names must have excessive apostrophes and syllables. Logan? Just jazz it up with some high fantasy flavor into Lyho'agha'Haan. Caldwell? Khalld'whell. If you can easily pronounce it...it isn't high fantasy enough!

I'd swap the con and dex scores. And then knock dex down to 10 or so. A giant slug have a high reflex defense is a tad counter intuitive.

This is D&D land. The only thing V did that was wrong was not taking Kubota's stuff after killing him.

From my experiences in D&D land, not killing the bad guy when you have the opportunity is a act of foolish naivete. There's just too many unknown factors/uncertainty in D&D land (magic, etc), eliminating the threat when the opportunity presents itself is just smart play.

The role of the DMPC is to die in some humourous-yet-horrible fashion 5 minutes into the adventure.
