    I don't belive entangle would slow it the slightest. I would think that if it was actually something solid you could hold on to, it would to some damage other than fire (as a fire elemental does).

    That seems weird..... the fireball streaks out to a range of 400 feet and detonates,but oddly only in one direction. Learn something new every day.

    I really don't think 100 damage a round is out of line at 14th, as long as other characters are capable of at least coming close. Its all about the type of game.

    I would say that common sense would dictate that the scroll is consumued, but now that I think of it, would it?. You already have the risk of running a mishap (which will hurt). I scanned the SRD ..but it makes no mention of whether or not the scroll is consumed. Anyone else?

    Well, it depends on who you ask about the Arcane Archer. It just seems like that class has a whole lot of special abilities... and good ones at that, compared to other archer prestiege classes around.

    300 damage in 3 rounds at 14 level is good. But it could be worse (for the dm that is). That archer prestiege class is a little iffy though. Seems like an arcane archer on some pretty big steroids.

    Should be house rules. I don't think they should. A creature with 20 foot x 20 foot facing only has to take a step to be out of the complete area of effect of a fireball. Also, bigger creatures already have an effective penatly to reflex saves, the bigger you are the less dex you have.

    Dual wielding monkey gripped glaives is going to cause you huge penalties to attack (-8/-8 I believe) You may be able to stop someone in their tracks with that, but you certainly wouldn't be hitting anyone. Besides, dual wielding is a little to feat intensive for a paladin with other goals in mind.

    50 +5 arrows cost 50,000 gp. A ring that gives unlimited +5 arrows should cost quite a bit more. I'd price it in the 150-250K range, closer to the low end.
