    Rules Interactions: Hybrids & Multiclassing

Correct Correct, you need to have at least 1 type of encounter power, utility, and daily from each class before being able to use the novice, acolyte, or adept feats. Also, standard multiclass paragon path is a waste, the hybrid paragon path gives you the same thing (I think) with an extra...

Not happy with Wizard's lack of fluff.

I agree with you that I am more interested in the history of tieflings, but I don't think the tiefling handbook is the right place for it because it varies depending on the campaign. What you are looking for I think is a campaign handbook with a bit more meat, and I don't think that Wizards is...

Eye of the Warlock aka Mirzam's Secret Eye

Arcane Implement Proficiency is in Arcane Power. There is a really cool paragon path that is worth picking up a multiclass fighter feat for: Avernian Knight. The 11th level features allow you implement proficiency with any melee weapon, and ranged powers don't provoke OA's. The encounter...

Eye of the Warlock aka Mirzam's Secret Eye

It should be, but I don't think polearms or axes are eligible for the Arcane Implement Proficiency feat. I wish they were though, I have a Barbarian/Warlock that would make his axe into an implement.

MM3 expected monster combo unnecessarily lethal?

In all seriousness Sorry about the pic earlier. In all seriousness there is a lot less sting for death in 4E then there is in other editions. If you have a really tough encounter and the party gets beaten, it isn't the end of the world. Heroic tales are full of examples of heroes coming back...

    Poison Immunity

Oh I don't have a problem, but I guess looking back at my post it might seem like I do, sorry about that. I just think that it's odd that immunity isn't more clearly clarified as it can have a significant effect on combat.

Heroscape bases to be sized for D&D

It is nice to see that the D&D brand is being marketed by Hasbro so well. I'm really excited about the Ravenloft board game coming out, and I like D&D. It will be nice to see if the Heroscape people get into D&D because of this. It seems like a natural stepping stone.

    Poison Immunity

Yeah I posted in there a few times and I disagreed with a lot of what was said there. My stance is that damaging effects have a keyword applied to them in the description or they are untyped. "10 damage + 5 poison damage + ongoing 5 damage" The 10 damage is untyped damage, the 5 poison...

MM3 expected monster combo unnecessarily lethal?

Oof might need to tone the encounter down.

Has anyone ever taken these feats? And why?

Power Attack Power Attack is a pretty decent feat in Paragon if you are a 2h user. -2 to hit for +6 to damage isn't too shabby.

    Eladrins...

The Optimizer in me... Eladrin are probably my favorite race. That being said, I love the flavor of the fey and Eladrin themed paragon paths/epic destinies because they are very charisma/charm oriented. Great if you are that type, but bleh otherwise. You could probably build a good path/epic...

    Question about Healer's Lore

Oh wow, we totally ran that one wrong. Regeneration is defined as a special form of healing, and Healer's Lore says, any time healing is granted. I'll need to check that FAQ out.

Heroes of Shadow: Assassins, Hexblades, and Necromancers!

I agree, I think that necro will be controller, hex will be defender, and assassin shadow. I don't think they will have a leader.

Weapons that can be used as implements and weapon focus.

A holy avenger can be used as a holy symbol. It adds its enhancement bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls and the extra damage granted by its property (if applicable) when used in this manner. You do not gain your weapon proficiency bonus to the attack roll when using a holy avenger as an...

    Swordmage class feature: SWORDBOND

Another issue that crops up with RAW is that Swordmage Warding requires a blade. Implement feats don't cover you for class features. Mechanically, this really isn't an unbalancing issue, as mentioned by another poster. Do what you want man, it's your game.
