Question about Healer's Lore

Does the bonus from Healer's Lore stack with other power bonuses?

For example, Healing word lets a player spend a healing surge and gain an additional 1d6 hp. So if your wisdom modifier were +3 would this result in

Healing surge + 1d6 + 3 hp restored?

Or would it just be the higher of the two, and if so, how would the 1d6 factor into that considering that the result ranges from 1 (lower) to 6 (higher)?

Thanks!

They stack, the 1d6 or later on xd6 (when using healing word) are extra healing that has no bonus type. And Healer's Lore is an untyped bonus as well. They stack with any other bonus.

From the latest Update:
Healer's Lore
Page 61: In the second sentence of the class feature, replace “grant healing” with “let a creature spend a healing surge to regain hit points.” This change limits the potency of surgeless healing, such as with astral seal.

Your study of healing allows you to make the most of your healing prayers. When you let a creature spend a healing surge to regain hit points with one of your cleric powers that has the healing keyword, add your Wisdom modifier to the hit points the recipient regains.

Be careful with the terminology. The d6 bonus that is part of the Healing Word power is not a power bonus. "Bonus conferred by a power" =/= "power bonus". Power bonuses are denoted by specific language, e.g. "gives a +2 power bonus to attacks".

Minor quibble: Class Feature.
You are correct! I was thinking of the multiclass feat. I used it for a paladin/warpriest I had. I haven't run a full on cleric yet, I never liked the Str cleric powers. I picked up Healer's Lore and then I replaced my paladin's 9th level daily with Divine Power, which had the healing keyword. So it was nice having regeneration 9 (+4 from wisdom) once per day. The errata was definitely needed.

?

Healer's Lore never applied to Regeneration.

20. If I use a prayer that gives regeneration such as Divine Power, do I add my bonus from Healer’s Lore to the power?
No. The Healer’s Lore feature does not apply to regeneration effects, even if those powers have the Healing

Oh wow, we totally ran that one wrong. Regeneration is defined as a special form of healing, and Healer's Lore says, any time healing is granted. I'll need to check that FAQ out.

Regeneration is like healing but not, for example you do not regenerate on lower than zero hit points as an example. It is actually quite a funky rule as a general thing.

For a while in one of my games the Cleric was adding almost everything onto his regeneration until I realized the mistake. He went with one power from regenerating 27 HP a round to about 10. Quite a difference.
