We know, pretty much, based upon history and research that the overloaded release schedules of 2, 3.5 and 4 were bad for the game. So a slower schedule is called for. At least one with alot less rules type expansions. That doesn't necessarily mean the release schedule we have is the right one...

You guys may be correct. Two things: 1. If this is the new model, WOTC needs to communicate this to the fans. Not hint at. Tell. 2. I think fans would be onboard for this kind of release schedule for rules heavy books. I don't think they want this slow a schedule for all the RPG products...
