D&D 5E (2014) Light release schedule: More harm than good?

They have a problem in that they are supporting the game in a very limited way. If you're not doing adventure league stuff or buying their adventure path hardbaks WOTC hasn't done anything for you beyond the core books. That's a serious problem. They could help matters by sharing some of...

    D&D 5E (2014) Any Realms news?

I don't see how WOTC can follow the Sundering with silence. If they were going to be doing nothing with the realms and taking a hand off approach then why announce that they are fixing the realms and that exctiting stuff is in store for the Realms and for Realms fans. Did plans change...

Dragonlance Give Me Three Reasons to Play Dragonlance

I'll try to answer a bit differently than the rest of you guys but still answer the question: 1. Margaret weis and Tracy Hickman 2. Doug Niles 3. Richard Knaak

    D&D 5E (2014) Any Realms news?

Anyone heard anything new about what's going on with the Forgotten Realms, in terms of either the RPG Setting or the novels?

Rodney Thompson Looks Behind The Screen

I think you're right Boarstorm. The lady from Gamers: Hands of Fate, right?

D&D 5E (2014) Per Ed Greenwood, Halruaa survived the Spellplague

I hope we start hearing something Realms related soon. WOTC is being entirely too quiet for seemingly no real reason.

Rodney Thompson Looks Behind The Screen

Not a bad little article. Without the old mags, this is exactly the type of stuff they need to put on the website to support the game. I know new DM me in the past would have appreciated the advice. This and the UA Eberron article make a good start to website based support. The only...

D&D 5E (2014) Give Me Three Reasons to Play Mystara/Known World

Red Steel is part of Mystara yes but it's kinda a mini-setting inserted in on the periphery.

Does anyone have a recommendation for the best Virtual Tabletop program?

Roll20 is great and it's free. Use that one.

Dragonlance DragonLance Paladine and Takhisis, how did they return?

That Darksun lore sounds horribly stupid. On the topic of Dragonlance, I hope WOTC licenses the DL stuff out to Margaret Weis' company. In terms of reboot or not, I'm not sure how I feel about wiping away all the continuity but I do think that Takhisis and Paladine should be alive. I have...

D&D 5E (2014) Has anyone else brought in books from older editions to 5E?

I've been messing around with mashing together the Known World from Mystara and some 3E stuff, Freeport and Mithril.

D&D 5E (2014) Kobold Press: Can They Take On The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting?

Greenwood and Grubb working on the campaign setting would be awesome. Based upon the Tyranny of Dragons adventures, I think the campaign settings would likely be farmed out to freelancers..I just don;t know who.

Are there people working at WOTC now that are knowledgeable about and interested in Greyhawk?

    DnD Attack Wing

Considering how much fun the other games that use this system are, I'm surprised more people aren't enjoying the game. X-wing, Wings of War and Star Trek: Attack Wing are all great fun.

How's D&D Working Out For You? First official feedback survey looks at CLASSES and FEATS!

It's a weird survey. I like that they asked about general satisfaction and how to present supplements. The "which of these classes is more powerful" questions were just strange. It wasn't a question formulated to get our input so much as confirm/disprove some notion they have.

    Fantastic Four (trailer)

That trailer was more interstellar than Fantastic Four. And I have to say tonally that the grimdark tone is about opposite of how the FF are as a team and comic.
