From what I hear there is a new Crown of Stars book coming out soonish. Damn fine series of books that one, if a little less known here in Oz.

I agree with you on this one. I would also vote for the linked series of adventures and not the pissy little 32 page ones either. Ones with substance.

I am looking forward to this. His latest album, Has Been, produced by Ben Folds, is really really good as well. Well worth a look at just for the cover of Pulp's Common People.

I picked up season 1 on DvD before ever seeing the show, just because I have heard so many good things about it. I was not disappointed at all. Shame it only will ever air on pay TV here in Oz.

Just finished Shaman's Crossing: Book One of The Soldier Son Trilogy by Robin Hobb that was released down here in Oz before it was in the USA. Miracles do happen sometimes. :p It was a very good read, but not as good as the first Assassin book IMO.

I really enjoyed Dead Like Me for some reason I cannot really explain. Pity it only lasted two seasons.

She has a pretty good Aussie accent for being a New Zealander.

Lost City of Barakas for me as well. It has everything one needs in it really I have found. Great cover art as well.

I have never understood what you guys see in Dr Pepper. Is not very pleasent at all. Must be the same thing about us Australian's thoughts on Vegiemite. Now that is dark salty goodness.

I would have to agree with what Zog said that the Miyasaski's collection is worth the effort. Anyone who makes a movie about a pig that flys, Porco Rosso, is grand in my books.

Robocop 2 and 3. Bad bad movies. :eek:
