Yes but I am finding that true of most crowd funding now. Used to be the other way around but now it is much cheaper to wait for these things to come to retail or be discounted after production during sales on the companies websites.

100% correct. Movie viewing has changed as the quality and experience of how viewing has improved dramatically. The pandemic accelerated something that had already started. Live sports to an extent have experienced something similar.

The OGL debacle timing was terrible but I think it had little effect on the box office results of the movie. Casual fans make or break the box office. For whatever reason this was a movie many casual viewers decided to stream at home.

For me if they switch to animated might as well not make it at all. I just don’t do animation as an adult.

Yes. There are dozens of magic item supplements but so far nothing seems to come close to the previous 1st and 2nd edition books when it comes to non magical treasure like gems, art, jewelry and other mundane items.

Any books that have good tables for non-magical treasure like gems, trinkets and other mundane things? Doesn’t have to be specific to 5E. I bought the Frog God Tome of Treasure book but wasn’t that impressed. So far the best things I have found are previous DMGs.
