    Being sick is a pain!

Do: Just rest and try to have fun, watch some movies or Simpsons episodes. Read a book. Listen to music, if you can. :) Don't: Please do not google your symptoms. For every common fever-like symptom there exist at least one rare and serious disease you certaintly don't have. A couple of weeks...

Why should I be interested in Lost?

Because the show is entertaining. It's not super great, and it's not overly intelligent, but it's a good mystery and it's worth wasting an hour per week to watch. And, your friends recommended it to you. :)

Why do you write your e-mail address differently?

An email harvester just downloads a random webpage, parse it, cut out all email-adresses and links, downloads the links, and repeats it over and over again. They often use google, and rarely downloads data from forums (eventually it will hit a dead-end). However! I am 100% sure most email...

Did you even read the first post? So you are saying all these computer patents are not ideas at all?

If you have an older TV or HDTV or monitor you are screwed!

They are losing control, that's their problem, because their whole business model is based on control. There are a million studies about whether or not the industry is losing money, but money has _never_ been the problem, that's just a curtain to avoid the actual problem. Copy protection is...

    DVD-R vs. DVD+R

There are no practical difference whatsoever for people like you and me. DVD-R are slightly more compatible (89% of the stand alone players support DVD-R compared to 85% that support DVD+R or something like that), and DVD+R are considered to be slightly better engineered. That's it.

Law and Chaos - the predictable and not so predictable

Repeat after me: Alignments have never defined a personality. Just because you act without thinking first, like Homer Simpson or Fry in Futurama, doesn't mean you must be chaotic. Just because you love to do the same thing every morning when you wake up, doesn't mean you are lawful. Alignments...

When will we see the first RPG patent?

Yes, but now you're assuming the large company filed the patent _and_ invented the idea (not that "invent" and "idea" are two words you should use in the same sentence...). What if I code something for Linux, something blatantly obvious. And then Microsoft patents the idea a couple of years...
