the tablet war is heating up

Widespread video calling isn't a big deal. Also, tablets are too large to double as a phone for most people. Let alone replace a music player.

Don't eat the Apple, man! It's not meant for that! ;)

    That's what I meant. ;)

I have no idea what products you are trying to compare in this statement.

the tablet war is heating up

It's more weight and feel than anything else. At that size/depth the device's portability is high so durability then really comes in to play.

the tablet war is heating up

Yes, thinner by a massive .2 millimeters. ;) Heh.

New Wonder Woman actress finally chosen

It's a silly costume and looks fine in real life considering how silly spandex supers costumes can look.

New Wonder Woman actress finally chosen

Considering she'll never be lit like that in the show I'm not remotely concerned. Looks like WW to me!

Boston Gameday on May 21, 2011 - sign up for games on Fri 3/18 at 7pm EST

These all sound great. :) EDIT: If need be, I have a Dread game in the hopper that I'm running at both NC & DC Gamedays. I'll bring it along just in case.

    Dragon Age 2

DA:O only had level scaling to a point. It absolutely made a difference if you character was higher level at many points in the game.

    Dragon Age 2

Yup, the specializations are still there. You can see them on the talent page. Certain powers can only be unlocked if the companion feels either positive or negative towards you. I dig that quite a bit. :)

[Videogames] February/March 2011: What Are You Playing?

[Videogames] February/March 2011: What Are You Playing?

I never hesitate to take advantage of a good deal. Like some of the GOG.com sales, Steam specials, amazon.com discounts & bargain bin games at retail stores. I have definitely cut down on buying newer games in the last 2 years or so. I only buy games at full price or near their release date...

[Videogames] February/March 2011: What Are You Playing?

I absolutely have a backlog of older games, some are brand new in the packaging and others are replays. In this case it's actually the GoW re-release for PS3 with hi-def upgrades. Still, it's my first time playing it. :)

[Videogames] February/March 2011: What Are You Playing?

At the moment, it's just Little Big Planet 2, God of War II and Rock Band 3 until my gaming laptop gets back from the repair depot.

    And yeeeeeeeeeeer OUT!

Ugh. Dude is an entertainer. He's entertaining and very good at it. Unless one of you have been personally harmed by his actions I'm not getting the geek-rage.

    And yeeeeeeeeeeer OUT!

Because not everyone shares your opinion. ;) It's easy enough to just not watch it, too.
