Well, you could just take Alertness or Skill Training (Perception) and be done with it for about 98% of all wizards ;). If I get to play a wizard, he's going to have a piglet familiar whether there are rules for them or not. cheers

Yeah, 4E is supposed to promote the team aspect as well, so that'd be a better fit insofar ;). Or Golden Axe, for that as well as its magic system with spells that are more powerful the less frequently you use them (or the better you are at kicking gnomes). cheers

WotC doesn't exactly have a stellar track record either when it comes to releasing errata, at least as far as D&D is concerned. In this case however, thumbs up. Hopefully they'll keep it up. cheers

I don't think it's explicitly spelled out anywhere, but we've been playing that if you don't actually roll any dice, it can't be a damage roll (of course excepting critical hits with nonmagical weapons), so Furious Smash for example benefits from the weapon's enhancement for the attack roll but...

Also, the difference between light and heavy armors increases at paragon and epic levels. For example, elderhide armor is 7 points behind spiritmail, as opposed to the 3 point difference between hide and chainmail. Assuming a +1 to AC from the attribute increases between tiers, that's still an...
