Two different people referencing the same staffer saying the same thing tells me this is both a notable and rare event. Leading me to believe this is nothing like the 3e-4e transition.
Mind you, I may be wrong, I have not been paying attention to the edition wars this time around.
Missed that one. Is it daily occurrence or a weekly occurrence or a one time thing? During the 3e-> 4e transition it was an almost daily occurrence that lasted for months. The specific staffer I was referencing had a weekly column where she would never miss a chance to slam 3e. Never. And she...
I agree. IMO, all the 4E hate really came from a perception by the 3.x crowd (oh which I was apart of) feeling like we were told that our game was crap. There were very few WotC people that were able to talk about 4E being awesome without overtly saying that 3E was terrible. My personal favorite...
I'm not going to be interested in the setting unless here is "full" support. IMO, the best way for Wizards to do that for less popular settings is to publish the main book and then license off the setting to another company (aka a D&D 5e compatible company that has proven they can publish qulity...
I'll take it how they give it. No preference from me either way.
Although I'd prefer a thinner book than a thicker book. That 500+ page PFRPG book is killer sometimes.

I appreciate the advise, but that was not what I was asking. I was asking, "What do you want?" 'Player material' is a large field. It can also be very lonely if no one is looking for player material, hence why I am asking, "What do you want?"
I asked this over on the Pelgrane Press Forums.
