Its for kids because the box says Ages 8 and up. :) My son (who was 9 at the time we got it) took to it right away. I'm 36 and qualify for the "and up" part in spades and enjoy it as well.

It's a one off type combat game. You build the terrain (there are plans in the game manual to make some) set up the combat scenario (comes with that too) and go at it. There are two modes of game play, simple and advanced. I would say though, this game it geared toward younger players. We got it...

I'd say maybe the Final Fantasy movie since that is all done in CGI, but the characters are very stiff and not very lifelike. I'd like to see an entire fantasy movie done (no live action) with the same technology used to create Gollum from LOTR. The things that could be done that can't be done...

As CGI gets more realistic and efficient I would like to see Forgotten Realms or even Dragonlance done this way. Special effects and scenery could do "fantasy" justice.
