D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

Kinda, though Assassin’s Creed has a lot more viability of fighting, and less gadgets in most of the games. But yeah something like a mix of the two would be brilliant.

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

I’d also be happy to see something a little less strictly tied to the TTRPG rules set in Eberron, like something with more action adventure style mechanics like an Assassins Creed or similar game. I care more about getting the same fantasy as playing D&D than I do about having the same...

D&D 5E (2024) "No magic items are necessary" vs Magic Items Awarded by Level

Damn nowhere near that number. That seems like too many to even remember. IME most characters by level 10 have a very rare, and 2-5 other items of various rarities. Like, weapon, armor, maybe secondary weapon, and a few utility items, and I’m set as a player.

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

Yeah absolutely. I’d also be super excited for a new high quality MMO set in Eberron.

D&D General What Bits of History Inspire Your Homebrew Setting?

Agreed on all points. A lot of my inspiration also comes from the historical fantasy of Guy Kay. My goal is to find the beauty in a time and place and translate that into a fantasy setting.

D&D General What Bits of History Inspire Your Homebrew Setting?

I borrow lightly from history, but some of my favorite bits to steal from are pre-Reconquista Spain, colonial and Mexican California (depending on the campaign, anything from 1500s to late 1800s), Viking Age Scandinavia, pre-Christian Ireland and Wales, more recently I’ve been inspired by things...

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

Yep. That’s why I think Eberron needs a new video game that is high quality. DDO is great for its age, but man it desperately needs a hard reset, and the world would be perfect for a BG3 level AAA game.

Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

Man….Iron Man, Blade…into The Spider-Verse. I’m probably forgetting something that I will feel silly for forgetting tho

D&D 5E (2024) Avenger of The Silver Flame build

That could work for sure. I considered Assassin Rogue but eh.

D&D 5E (2014) Eberron: Forge of the Artificer

I love that pic. That and the one with the Warforged hanging off an airship over the Lightning Rail. I ran a three part, three session, combat, in Sharon’s upper districts, with assassins attacking their rich noble friend’s home and then fleeing on sky cabs that the PCs chased on basically...

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Unveils Dragon Delves' Eclectic Art Styles

I’m generally with Pointy Hat on YouTube when it comes to dragon (D&D dragons are boring) but I love this art.

    D&D General Bastion Mapping Tools

So, I’m wondering if anyone is mapping out their Bastions, and if so what you use? Sigil seems set up well for it, but doesn’t run on my laptop. Maps doesn’t seem to be customizable enough. Any third party programs that are easy?

D&D 5E (2024) Avenger of The Silver Flame build

Smithy in your Bastion gets you armament magic item crafting, too. But yeah if I wanted to just be a blender ASAP I’d go monk so the daggers are d6 or better and I get two BA unarmed strikes. For this build the Paladin levels aren’t there to make me a front liner, but to provide divine spells...
