If I have a small sized ranger, can I trade the given Longbow from the class itself in for a Shortbow? Also, if we're starting at 4th, how much extra GP do we have to spend on equipment?

I'd prefer to keep all the options in the PHB open as well, but I love the backstory ties to the groups and people that the pregens come with. I'd recommend sprinkling some of those connective elements in either in our character creation or added as the DM sees fit.

Looks cool. I'd buy them if I have any money left after getting the core books. If the eye symbol is for the Warlock, then the drop of blood with fire in it must be the Sorcerer and the hand with spell must be the Wizard I'd guess.
