  1. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon picked up his gear and joined the others outside in the hot day. Does it never get cooler here? he asked himself. He too followed the old tabaxi onto the big tree. The warm mist made the tree slippery...
  2. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

They all agreed that it was best to take the war-wagon to the Manor. It was too valuable to loose to the sieging orcs bands. But who would take charge of the wagon? Titus and Lionel argued for a little before the decision was made that Lionel and the guard would make the bash to the manor. It...
  3. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

Regarding skill checks with tools, there is interesting reading in Xanathar's Guide to Everything on p 78 in general and on p 82 on Land Vehicles in particular.
  4. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

I'm late to the party (sorry) but here are my 2 bob's worth: Lionel will take the wagon (and the guard) to the manor. He has proficiency in Land Vehicles and the wagon is a valuable asset. Titus will join the others in the fight, although he will be rattling quite loudly. He will most likely...
  5. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Sounds like a good idea, Titus said. However, this means that we need to leave the war wagon behind. The mounted crossbow could be a great support otherwise.

  7. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon shook his head. I rather liked that cube, he said. The snake pattern was certainly peculiar. He turned to the old cat and asked So you're saying that the cube could have been an illusion? It felt pretty solid to me... Chrysagon walked over to Weed and examined his cube closely, and...
  8. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

The heat was bothering Chrysagon and he was glad to be out off the sun under cover in the tower. The air was still stifling but it was bearable. He listened idly to the conversations around him while he grabbed a snack from his pack. When Harb asked the old tabaxi about pattern, Chrysagon...

  10. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

Don't forget that Lionel and Titus are fully rested. We can attack the northern camp stealthily but I think we need to leave the mounted xbow behind unless there is a road/track leading up to the camp. In that case the xbow can move in during the second round and bring some heavy support.
  11. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Titus gathered the horses and led them to the group ahead of him. Lionel looked over the crossbow and made sure everything was good before he put the cover over it. Greetings! Titus called out to his friends. Looks like we arrived just in time. Lionel jumped down and rushed over to shake their...

  13. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Hold the horses still! shouted Lionel to Titus. My aim is out when it's rocking so much. The horses were skittish and obviously didn't want to be any closer to the ogress. Titus tried his best to soothe and settle the horses but with limited success. What do you think I'm doing? Titus yelled...
  14. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

As eager as Titus was to join the fight, he decided to stay with the horses. No good would come if they lost them to an aggressive ogre running amok. He readjusted his position to be between the line of ogre and horses. Meanwhile, Lionel had lost sight of the sniper. Suddenly the sniper had...
  15. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon reached the top of the tower too and, as Harb, realised the battle had ended. He came down and joined the others talking to the sniper.
  16. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Titus stayed closed to the horses, still in his defensive stance. He also followed Angis finger and saw the sniper high up on the cliff. Titus asked Morwin, his trusted flying friend, to fly up to the cliff and scout the area. We don't want any surprises, do we? Morwin quickly flies straight up...
  17. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

What a lucky shot, Lionel thought. He is glad to be able to help but at the same time scared. Those orcs looks really vicious. The next moment, Vairar skewers the orog and Angis is safe... for now. Angis waved to Lionel and pointed up the cliff face. Lionel spotted the sniper and adjusted the...

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon takes the risk and dashes across the open space between the building and the tower. He dives through the small opening he had spotted. Once inside he try to locate a way up and get close to the sniper.
