Disable device and contact poison trap.

Good point. I do like your idea better, I was just rationalizing the silly rules...

Disable device and contact poison trap.

Maybe it has something to do with the trap being pointed in the almost exact direction that the trigger is placed, making it easier to hit the sorry sap who triggered it in the first place.

    Epic Attacks

There is at least one good thing about going Wiz20 then Ftr20: you can take Epic Feats as Fighter Bonus Feats, provided you meet the requirements.

+2 Flaming, Shocking, Frezzing Great Axe

Re: Free Action It always takes a standard action to activate a magic item with a command word.

+2 Flaming, Shocking, Frezzing Great Axe

True, the damage reduction does not affect the energy part, but that's handled by large amounts of Energy Resistances. The high DRs can still make it difficult to do damage otherwise.

+2 Flaming, Shocking, Frezzing Great Axe

You can have the weapons all ready for a fight; it'd just look funny to see a person walking around with an unsheathed sword covered in fire.

    D&D 3.x Ageing in 3e

There isn't anything core that will age you, other than simply getting older.

    Fighters' Bonus Feat List expanded?

MotW does indeed have more Fighter Feats. Some of the feats are marked with '*', and the key is buried in the opening paragraphs for the feat section (these are the fighter feats).

+2 Flaming, Shocking, Frezzing Great Axe

He still won't bypass damage reduction any better, though.

    Damage reduction

If they are high enough level to attempt to fight a hellcat, they should havea cleric/wizard that can cast Greater Magic Weapon which will give at least a +2.

    Anyone going to Dragon*Con? (Atlanta)

As I'm also a college student in Atlanta, I might be going, but not for any gaming, though. Supposedly, gaming has very little priority at Dragon*Con. I don't know what exactly I go for, but it'd probably be watching anime again... oh well

    Spellsword/metamagic feats

The Spellsword is the best way to use Quicken true strike and the Power Critical Feat (from MotW). That way, they can almost always crit (except maybe the 5% of the time against creatures with not ungodly AC).

    PrC and cheesy abilities

The Immunity to Charms and Compulsions is similar to Paladin's Immunity to Fear. Just seems like a simple parallel (more of that crazy paladin stuff...)

    Cleave and AoO

After using the AoO to drop someone, you then get to Cleave in another creature in your reach. You still only get one Cleave Attempt per turn (unless you have Great Cleave), so if you already used it, you don't have another one because of this.

    sneak attack and rays

Any spell that (1) causes damage and (2) has to hit by an attack roll (rays, touch attacks) can cause a critical hit and, therefore, be used for sneak attacks.

[OT] Robotech, macross saga. Vidoe game

    Retributive Strike

Power Critical is the feat in MotW that lets you declare an attack to be a critical. However, this feat requires that you have Improved Critical for that weapon as well. (A spellsword could use this feat and quickened true strikes to get one definite crit in a day)

    Defeating an incorporeal creature

Besides running away and magic (Magical Weapons, the spell of that name, Actually spells), there is nothing that he can do. Maybe he could get help from a friendly hireable NPC that will cast Magic Weapon for him, but that's about it. Lurking Serpent signing off, gtJormungand
