    Viking Modules?

As-is they're not viking adventures, but I think mixing the Against the Giants series with Norse mythology would probably go somewhere fun. Maybe not that great for a historical viking campaign, though. For a more historical/realistic approach, you might want to see if you can find a copy of...

    Modern Gods

An interesting take on this kind of thing is the Unknown Armies RPG, which deals pretty extensively with postmodern myths. Makes a good sourcebook, at any rate.

Wizards of the Coast/Kenzer & Company License Agreements Expiring

I'm guessing it made it easier to get product into FLGSes early on, which certainly helped sales. So while the D&D logo may not have sold you directly on any product, it probably had something to do with the product being there for you to buy.

Creating a demi-human race and society

Sure, but most D&D worlds are unabashedly creationist - some deity plopped down the elves here, a rival deity put the orcs there, and other deities gave them fire, technology, etc. so they could get down to killing each other for XP. Often a scientific approach is unnecessary, a given culture...

Creating a demi-human race and society

Go with a classic: Infravision. Or Darkvision, Nightvision, Low-Light vision, whatever - he can see in the dark.

    selling a system change

Well, here's the secret to running Call of Cthulhu: you need buy-in from the players. They have to want to play characters who, when they first confront something unnatural, are more likely to say "I have no idea what this is, I'd better avoid it" than "Ooh, I bet it's CR4, if I kill it I'll get...

    selling a system change

They are, but that's not really a game breaker. In general in CoC, if you're supposed to run from something, it's so much more powerful than the PCs that even a major boost in PC toughness won't help. Stuff they're supposed to fight, like cultists or Deep Ones, can be made more deadly by upping...

    Werebears in Whitewolf's nWoD?

I believe the answer is "no", but I don't have every supplement to be sure. The general take on the NWOD is that the werewolves are a unique type of critter, not just one of many changing breeds as they were in the older version.

    Survivor - Fiji (spoilers)

Yeah, Yau-Man is this season's Rupert in terms of popularity. I dunno if they're thinking of doing the fan vote for a million again, but if so they can save some time by just giving Yau the cheque. Apparently Survivor had a big boost in ratings this season, and he's one of the major reasons -...

    What is a good non-d20 sci-fi RPG?

Despite the name of the first edition, Traveller 2300 really has nothing much to do with Traveller. The second edition was renamed 2300 AD to highlight that. It's a fine sfrpg in its own right, but it'd require quite a bit of hacking to use it for BSG - all the assumptions about space combat and...

    Survivor - Fiji (spoilers)

Wikipedia sez there was one in Guatemala, found by Gary (the quarterback). Unlike the later idols, this one had to be used before the vote.

    Running a Greyhawk campaign

I'm guessing that what he meant was you don't have to be in Living Greyhawk to use the LGG.

If players had a screen, what would be on it?

The Arcana Unearthed DM's screen came with a "Player's Reference Card". It has light source range and duration, skill check DCs, encumbrance information, and ability score modifiers on it. It's actually pretty useful for the skill DCs. I don't know off-hand if it was redone for Arcana Evolved.

Pathfinder 1E Paizo no longer publishing Dungeon and Dragon

Yeah, I'm suffering heavy nostalgia because Dragon was around issue 35 or so when I first started playing D&D and it's weird thinking of a hobby without it, but I haven't read it regularly in quite some time. What it delivers I can get online in a more convenient format. WOTC's probably making...

    Survivor - Fiji (spoilers)

The way the hidden idols work, I think there's actually a lot of value to having people know you've got it, but only when the votes are fairly close. If nobody knows you have it, then you need a real good idea of whether you're a target since you have to play it before the votes are read. OTOH...

    Running a Greyhawk campaign

For that, I'd just grab one of the 1980 folio, the 1983 boxed set, or the 2000 D&D Gazetteer (the 32 page booklet, the larger Living Greyhawk Gazetteer would probably be overkill), and use that as a reference. With any of these, you get a map and a book with an overview of each nation and its...

    1e vs. 2e:

Eh, to each their own. After seeing Unearthed Arcana, I had no interest in any rules revisions from Gygax; loved his adventures (and generally still do), rulebooks not so much. We had Usenet, which was if anything worse; imagine if ENWorld, RPG.net, the Forge, the White Wolf messageboards...

    Best Superhero Adventures/mods?

Villains and Vigilantes had the best adventures, IMHO. There were a lot of them, and off-hand I can't think of a clunker in the bunch. They're still available via drivethru. Champions had some pretty decent ones, particularly for 4E, but I believe they're mostly out of print. Day of the...

    Designing a Setting Using D&D D20 OGL

You can find the OGL here, and the d20 STL here. WOTC's main page for the d20 system (with links to FAQs, as well as those two files) is here.
