    D&D 5E (2014) Make Constitution great again

In what universe is Con a dump stat in 5e. If you could use it to hit things it could dethrone Dex as the king of abilities... Well that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but the thing about Con is that, it may not be your number 1 priority, but every class wants more of it.

    D&D 5E (2014) Simulacrum - Sorcery Points?

The phrasing is really up to interpretation, but the spell says "The simulacrum lacks the ability to learn or become more powerful" and if regaining spell slots counts as "becoming more powerful" I would imagine regaining sorcery points does too. Do note that Simulacrum can only target...

D&D 5E (2014) Watery Sphere (Elemental Evil Companion)

I assume you mean Sculpt, unless there is a benefit to not needing verbal or somatic component that I'm not seeing?

    D&D 5E (2014) OK, 5e is a little broken sometimes.

Those spells have really small ranges and YOU pick their placement. Is you enemy surrounded on at least three sides by your allies? Then save your channel divinity for when they are not; it's worth more in your pocket than the 3.5 extra damage that you will be doing on average. Would Shocking...

    D&D 5E (2014) Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards 5e

I still think there is miscommunication here. I don't mean to speak for anyone else, but I believe Treantmonk's point isn't "if it is not a god wizard, then it is not worth doing" but rather "if it is not a god wizard, then it doesn't belong in my guide to god wizarding". If you want to discuss...

    D&D 5E (2014) OK, 5e is a little broken sometimes.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "trust me on this Tempest thing". You are provably wrong and others have already pointed this out. Also, why would you waste your ability maximizing the damage on Shocking Grasp when you could be using it on Thunderwave and Shatter?

    D&D 5E (2014) OK, 5e is a little broken sometimes.

He's right, this edition is broken beyond repair, I'm heading back to 3.5.

    D&D 5E (2014) Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards 5e

Keep in mind, he is assessing the Bladesinger abilities based on how useful they are to his "god wizard" support caster build, NOT how useful they are to a gish; for instance Booming Blade should not be blue because if you are in range to use it your number one priority is getting OUT of a range...

D&D 5E (2014) Fighter Core Archetype Satisfaction Survey

Good question. Um... Let's say any Fighter including multiclassed ones, but judging purely on how your Fighter levels contribute to your character. So if you are a Ranger (Beastmaster) 7/Fighter (Eldritch Knight) 3, and you were unsatisfied mostly because you wanted a stronger companion, you...

    D&D 5E (2014) Dragonscale armor question

Wow, nice necro post. A few relevant details: Fabricate cannot be used to make magic items, which I think the armor may still be classified as. Even if its not, anything that requires a good deal of skill to craft requires you to have proficiency in the relevant tool to create with Fabricate.

D&D 5E (2014) DM advice: Necromancers, Undead, and Attunement

I don't think their is anything RAW that stops them.

D&D 5E (2014) Fighter Core Archetype Satisfaction Survey

Hey all, So I'm collecting information for a statistics class and Sacrosanct's surveys looked pretty successful, so I thought I may look here for some numbers. Today we are discussing Fighter Martial Archetypes from the PHB. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Xanathar's War Mage is Gandalf, Dr Strange, and Elric

    That's fair. Still sad though.

Xanathar's War Mage is Gandalf, Dr Strange, and Elric

This is immensely disappointing. I hoped for a fixed Lore Master. I expected the Theurge. The War Mage has no soul (and not in a good way like the Warlock). Is there a reason why the Wizard only got one subclass, but apparently there was enough room for most classes to get three subclasses and...

D&D 5E (2014) Wizard Evoker Overchannel - Most Powerful Combo

I think the point is that while wizards can do all those things, other classes are so much better at single target damage that you probably shouldn't go too far out of your way build your character to do something someone else is gonna do better anyway. If you had already decided to make an...

3 Magic Feats: Magical Weapon, Magic Manipulation, & Cantrip Master

Don't forget, True Strike doesn't give you advantage on your next attack, it gives you advantage on your first attack next turn. So it takes a round to kick in and you can lose concentration on it. Also, sources of advantage on attack rolls are plentiful, so I don't think free True Strike every...

Mike Mearls "Invented The Baked Potato" in Xanathar's Guide With The Cleric Forge Domain

...Does this mean we're not getting Grave Domain? edit: Oops, looks like each class gets two subclasses. Shows how up to date I am on Everything.

D&D 5E (2014) Stacking martial classes levels for extra attack feature?

I think you are misunderstanding the original post (or maybe I am). I think Horwath is proposing that "levels in classes that grant the Extra Attack feature stack for the purpose of determining when you get your second attack" not "each instance of Extra Attack you have grants an additional...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

So like getting a Dex save to dodge out of Magic Missile? Personally I would be against this, but I can understand why you want this. I would rather go through the list of spells that don't allow a save and make sure gods have counters to them on a case by case basis. As a player I would hate...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this, is there a time where they normally do not? That's all well and good for dragons and such, but I kinda thought the entire point of these monsters is that they are just SO far above that they are above bounded accuracy. Would you really expect...
