    Critter Bits and Magic Recipes!

Are you ultimately going to make an OGC list?

    [non d20] Buffy RPG

I can see how a box of toothpicks driven by a hurricane could produce enough damage to allow air to enter the wounds---maybe your case is still ok---even if not 'airtight.'

    [non d20] Buffy RPG

Sounds like a great solution---a lot of players don't like hearing " 'cuz i said so " as a reason for why they can't do something. Side note: That reason doesn't always work on my children (ages 9 and 6) either!

    [non d20] Buffy RPG

Why would the players want to use a submachine gun when they could have a crossbow? Crossbows have been one of my favorite weapons for any genre I can work them into.

What are your favorite monster books?

I also loved the looseleaf sheets.

    The Gnoll/Zombie/Illithid Showdown

Zombies are my favorite, but vampires run neck and neck for second. I have to admit that most vampire books/movies/etc. are better than the ones with zombies.

    What is your favorite monster?

Had a lot of fun with lizardmen and danger at dunwater.

Miracle of birth occurs for the 80 billionth time!

Depending on the nature of your game and group, don't be shy to play around the little ones---role-players definitely develop a larger vocabulary and greater problem solving skills. A young GM will learn a lot researching story ideas.

What are your favorite monster books?

Going way back, I enjoyed the original Fiend Folio, even if it was goofy. Also, Dark Races by GDW (for the Dark Conspiracy game). I never play Dark Conspiracy, but it gave me lots of ideas).

    New G.E. Commercial

My wife was curious about that book---I doubt she would want one for Mother's Day---maybe a DM's Guide?

    [non d20] Buffy RPG

Several people mentioned buying the game and converting it to a different system or just adapting the skills/magic etc. to their current game. Seems like a great idea; although, I get a lot of enjoyment out of learning a whole new set of rules.

    The Gnoll/Zombie/Illithid Showdown

of the three... zombies! zombies in movies, zombies in books, zombies in video games, and zombies in RPG's...and yes zombies in the newspapers (You know you read the Weekly World News when standing in the grocery line---lots of game ideas in that underappreciated gem!) oh yeah, did I mention...

Conan... What is best in Life?

If anyone's doing the previously mentioned pole...I vote for 'Crush the enemies.'

    Xmen type characters

I spend a lot of money buying clearance items from the local RPG shops. I don't worry about learning the rules, but I blend all of the special abilities, psychic abilities, spells, effects from magic items, etc. together and use them whatever purpose I need. Someone could easily use those...

    Favorite old adventures?

I loved the Isle of Dread---always made me think of King Kong; but my all-time favorites were The Sinister Secret of Saltmarch and Danger at Dunwater. My group replayed them many, many times---changing the monsters and treasures enough to keep it interesting. They were like an early version of...

Miracle of birth occurs for the 80 billionth time!

I recommend reading the 'Mother of all Pregnancy Books" for all of the readers who said they are either 'expecting' or 'trying.'

    What is your favorite monster?

In general...zombies and kobolds; however, ogres "have a special place in my heart" as the very first adventure that I wrote for my brother and his friends to play (many years ago), was called 'ogre castle'---had a very far-fetched "plot."

Things you Dont Like About 3.5

I guess I'm a true software geek (makes sense since I'm a programmer)...I like 3.5, but it does it make it difficult for people who are used to writing 3E...maybe 3E5. Glad it's not up to me.
