    Your first Underdark minis?

It's easy to make a profit, as long as you got lucky and pulled one out of a pack before spending $23 or more on packs in the first place.

    M&M 2nd Edition: Underwhelmed?

I picked 2E up on pre-order. When I first delved into statting out my first character, it was rough. I was used to the 1E way of doing things, so it took some time to really get the changes. However, now, I can stat out a character and make conversions easy with just a cheatsheet. (Just as...

    Wilderlands too old?

Speaking as a semi-oldtimer here. I took a look at the Wilderlands set. I liked it, but based on my current gaming genre loves (steampunk, sci-fantasy, and super-hero), there wasn't a whole lot to offer me beyond yet another base for me to build a homebrew setting on. Between, IK, AE, WoW...

    Your first Underdark minis?

The Iron Golem is stands as tall as the Balor's wings, if I recall correctly since I don't have the figs with me at work. It's one of the best figs I got out of Underdark so far. Kane

    Your first Underdark minis?

I got my case Friday night. I pulled all of the commons and uncommons and 12 different rares (they definantly got the packaging down right). The rares I pulled were: Balor Marut Medium Silver Dragon Iron Golem Dromite Wilder Elminster Justicator Draegloth Drow Archanomancer Half-Fiend Ogre...

    Gamer Significant Others

Hehehe. It was a great way to meet single, intelligent guys. From my groups the eligible part would have been in question since a few of them got so nervous around gals that they pretty much couldn't function. It's creepy to see a guy quiver and shake when a new female player showed up...

Head over heels for a girl.

Ferret, 99.9% of the time that a gal tells you that "it's not you, it's me" it's you. It likely isn't anything huge, although this obsessive side could swing my opinion the other way around, but there's something that she sees in you that she doesn't like in a boyfriend. I know it sucks, but...

    Best Heroes game to start

What's that smell? I think it's a thread about to be engulfed in a flame war. Arguing over which supers game is better is rather stupid. There's no way to say anyone is right or wrong in a debate of OPINION, so let's not even start. Play the game you like and be happy to play it and be happy...

    Anybody here play "Dead Stars"?

I've picked up Dead Stars, but I haven't delved too far into it so far. (Too much work and not enough play...) It's on the rather huge list of pdf's I've bought that I need to review. Kane

Where you at? Add yourself to the EN World map

I'm on the map now as well. That thing is getting crowded fast.

    Would YOU play AD&D 2e?

With the right DM, I'd play just about anything.

    Current Wish List?

I have to agree with this as well. Not once have I ever read the fiction in Dragon. I buy it for game material. I buy novels for fiction.

    d20 Superheroes...suggestions for setting sourcebook?

I wonder if a setting book is even being thought about. They haven't done one yet (except for Urban Arcana, and that was a setting in the loosest of terms), so I wouldn't expect one. Kane

    d20 Superheroes...suggestions for setting sourcebook?

I think a Modern Grim and Gritty Setting would work great with D20 Supers, especially if it fits with B&V and allows regular D20 Modern characters to play alongside superheroes. Since I have M&M to cover the classic comic book tropes, a grim and gritty modern day setting would work out great...

    Underdark gallery and checklist up

My FLGS should have some cases in today or tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be opening packs of Underdark minis this weekend! The only downside is I'm supposed to be saving money for X-Mas presents...I think I can make the finances work...

    Non-Metal Metallics

In all honesty, if you're getting good result with the old standby methods of regular metallics, I'd stick with it. It take a LOT of time to get a NMM min to look good from all sides. So much time that I only do so very occasionally.

    Non-Metal Metallics

I've tried NMM, but didn't really like the results. Like Pogre says, it photographs better, but isn't as impressive in person. I still do so on a few figs that it would look good on, since I can get a more rusty/weathered look that way, but even then I still prefer real metallics.

    November--What are you reading?

Ghost Hunter's Guide by Hans Holzer. He's a bit of an arrogant arse, but there are tons of good "true" ghost stories in this HUGE book. It was an impluse buy the week before Halloween, and I'm very happy with it.

M&M: What types of heroes are in your games?

Since I run (well, trying to run) a combination world of DC/Marvel/Image/Homebrew there's all sorts of characters that show up. Out of Homebrew I have: Revenger: Think the Punisher, but relying more on hand to hand combat and an even nastier temperament. Cybeast: He's a Robocop-like...
