    Mithril Armor and proficiency.

As I see it the proficiency handles not only weight but also the actual armor parts, plates, straps and so on that it must have in order to work properly, being mithral or steel changes weight, but it still is a medium armor and needs enough and proper ways to be held in place, this in itself...

Phineas's Dungeon Maps o' the Week (100 maps)

That is no big deal for me, the map itself is hard for me because of the rational elements I must account for when doing it, yours have addressed it fairly well and have some degree of similarity to reality, so it is good for me. Also, simple=good and for us all, as many have said, your...

    I need a volunteer!

Eric, it seems to happen not only in the situation I tried, take a cchance and navigate through the main page and see what you get, with electric blue it happens, don't know about the other styles.

    I need a volunteer!

Eric, in case this changes anything, when I went to the personal forums through the main page it changed my style to standard (from eletric blue), it kept the electric blue on the slide bar in the bottom, though. I will see if it happens again and if it does I will post a link to where I was...

    The Immortals Handbook

Hi UK!! I can undeerstand fairly well what you mean with that... what i think would improve the system would be a general motivation, which you already have, and then a step by step explanation, this would give everyone a general knowledge of how it works, when I read it for the first time I...

    The Immortals Handbook

Thanks, UK, in fact when you actually use the system it goes great, what was unclear for me when I first read it is that a geenral step by step comment and guideline in advance would have made it easier to get in the first try, the system is simple but you only get it all when you finish reading...

    Mithril Armor and proficiency.

I doubt that it is sage advice, I rarely do read any, as I don't have acess to dragon magazines here in Brazil, the portuguese one is a crap, maybe you have overlooked it or it is just in a not so obvious place, like it happens to some other rules, I will check it when I get home, promised.

    Prone movement?

Would it not be addressed inderectly by the restricted movement part of the SRD? It would be akin to the greatly restricting terrain where taking a 5' step would be a move action and provoke AoO... that is how I would address it...

    Mithril Armor and proficiency.

I am sure there is a rule in the books about this, it is still a medium armor, the light armor thing is for purposes of weight and abilities only, which is already good enough, in my opinion... I don't have the books with me, so I cannot point the actual rule, mayeb it was in the faq, who knows...

    Prone movement?

Excelent question, I think that this would work well but it would need a DC higher than the common tumble through threatened squares and lower than the OA kip up as free action test... I think I would allow it, after all, we all have seen those movies with the guy in the ground rolling side and...

    Prone movement?

It is not an omission, since they have made it so that situations do exist that a 5' step is not allowed, this would be one such situation, although they could have been a lot clearer... Thanks for the info, I surely did not know it before this thread showed up. :)

    The Immortals Handbook

Ihave recently discovered this book due to the excelent pdf on challenge ratings and encounter levels, by far the best considerations and complete system on it that I have seen, congratulations. My only concern is that at some points it is a little dubious, more explanations would make it more...

Ninja-To, Cutlass, Wakizashi: All just short swords, or something different?

Unless I am wrong ninja were the not so honor bound samurai that specialized on sneaking and spying, they were more often than not despised, although clans used them to do what the regular samurais would never... Of course that comes from some not so precise information, like a few books and a...

    WOTC Web Site: Going Metric?

Here in Brazil the translated version holds the 1.5 meters for a square... I am so used to feet and just everything in the rules is in it that it is better to stick to it, when we need to have a good general idea we convert the desired measure... ;)
