While I agree get where you are coming from and even partly agree with you, if they wait till year 5 to release a setting, that is a long time for fans of that setting to wait. It would be nice to see some kind of support, such as a short PDF of updates, especially if they don't plan on doing...

It could be someone who has been stuck there for a short period of time already (longer than the PCs but not a native) but hasn't been able to find a way out and sees the PCs as the best way for them to escape.

I don't know, Legolas clones might be more cheesy.
