D&D General Original photo of David A. Trampier with his cab, found.

"Trampier was suspicious of the offer, and wanted to ensure that TSR would not have any part of the publication" Darn right there is. Something seems to have happened between them. Might be in the corporate minutes or correspondence that I assume WOTC/Hasbro now own. So sad. I loved his work.

That book cover is... it's actually disturbing in a way I cannot adequately express.

    Eternals (Spoilers)

That was one of the longest five hours of my life. At least twice I was thinking 'OK, things should start moving into the last act any mi-- there's forty more minutes left?!' Too bad this is the version of The Eternals we're now stuck with for who knows how long.

    Evil, the TV show

Oh, good to know it got a second season. I was hooked, mainly by Michael Emerson playing a truly evil bastard. He was just good enough that I could forgive the cardinal sin of a paranormal show: kids.

What do you eat for a typical breakfast?

Work Days: Bacon and egg biscuit from 1-3 various fast food places, large half-and-half tea (pre-pandemic, when you could go inside, I'd get my usual 95% unsweet with a splash of sweet tea on top, which is in general enough to sweeten an entire large cup). Non-Work Days: 50% of the time, the...

    Best comic book villain?

Doom still comes out on top. Powerful, wonderfully arrogant, with just enough humanity and restraint that he makes interesting choices. For 'most evil', a special shout-out to Shapeshifter in the Elementals comics (Old Villains and Vigilantes fans have seen her in the comics section of the...

What's your favorite superhero TTRPG and why?

I don't think anyone answered your question, but I'm not 100% sure. We tried both editions of the Supers rules. We wanted to like it. We really, really did since SW was our group's big go-to system at the time. I have never seen such a total and complete mess of a game in my life, and the...

What's your favorite superhero TTRPG and why?

There are any number of systems that adequately handle low-level supers (Basically, 'Heroes' level people (with a possible exception for Peter)). Big splashy four-color supers, on the other hand.... M&M does it best, I think, but the system went from something simple and clean to almost...

TSR TSR3 Blames Widespread Pushback On WotC

They can be very, very different. Or exactly the same. Both of these terms cover such a broad range of behaviors that entire shelves of books can and have been written on exploring that nuances. These are vastly over-simplified message-board-chat-level distinctions: Drag (Queens )(and Drag...

Finally saw Tenet (and Nolan films ranked)

Nolan is my Cannoli. For me, I loved The Prestige. Memento and Inception were interesting. I'd watch them again. I have not seen Insomnia. The rest can all die in a fire. I didn't think anyone could screw up Batman more than $&%&^ Tim Burton, but I was wrong.

    Jupiter's Legacy (Netflix)

Nope. Not even mentioned. There's dozens and dozens of them by the modern era. Walter has like 50 of them gather to kill Grace, so there s probably at least a couple hundred or more?

    Person of Interest

Indeed, Reeses's part in things was basically over. I'd love a spin-off series, but not until Michael Emerson isn't tied up with Evil.
