    Some rules musings

And here's some responces :) They can yes, in my last fight with Darkwolf, I used my chi strike in the first round, not to get rid of it, but rather in the hope that he used his best move to counter my first round move. I figured that would give me a much better chance at winning a round with...

Dirty Trick + Strat Match = Stupid Trick

heh sorry... I guess you could still do it in one of those, as a IC sorta thing, since my judge persona is different then my fighter one.

Kagan Vs. Shard....(Thanks Vanor and Sollir) (Shard Bests the White Belt))

ooc: Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm heading for home in about 30 min's. I'll pop in at least twice yet tonight to judge if there is a need, and will be around again tomorrow morning.

Dirty Trick + Strat Match = Stupid Trick

I thought as much, but wasn't sure. So I'll assume this means I'm back to master judge again.

Ariel Eastwind Vs. Kith.....(Vanor Judging)....(Kith Wins)

The Dragon of the Westwind ponders this round for some time... Both powerfull moves, Implaling the swamp, bowing on the vale vs Shattering the volcaino... Both good defenses, blocking the spirit touch vs blocking the quick bird... Very hard to see who had the more telling blow in his round...

Kagan Vs. Shard....(Thanks Vanor and Sollir) (Shard Bests the White Belt))

The blizzard shouting is a good move, but not quite as good as the tumbling chimera... I saw one of them do that once, it was qutie funny. Of course it didn't really agree, but it didn't push it to much when I let lose with a burst of lightning :D But I degress... Round 1; Point Kagan, 1 flag...

Ariel Eastwind Vs. Kith.....(Vanor Judging)....(Kith Wins)

The dragon ponders this round for a few moments. Both moves are strong, and it is hard to tell which of the two was the more effective. So I will reward this round to Kith because she is the more renound fighter. Round 3; Point Kith 2 flags Kith, 1 flag Ariel

Kagan Vs. Shard....(Thanks Vanor and Sollir) (Shard Bests the White Belt))

The dragon winces a bit at Shards stinging insult. A helpless master is no good, and so Shard may set the lenth and terms for this fight. He then creates a sheat of blue flame with the following writen on it... [b] [/color]

Ariel Eastwind Vs. Kith.....(Vanor Judging)....(Kith Wins)

The fang is a mighty style, and one I aprove of greatly... There is little in life that can bring more joy then sinking your fangs into... Oh wait you don't have fangs do you. Pitty. The dragon breaths out a second ball of fire, this time setting it afloat on the side of the sash fighter...

Kagan Vs. Shard....(Thanks Vanor and Sollir) (Shard Bests the White Belt))

Vanor the dragon rides off on his horse, as a real dragon flys in from the west. I would judge this match between the two of you if you are willing. ooc: Heh might as well "keep it in the family" as it were :D

Ariel Eastwind Vs. Kith.....(Vanor Judging)....(Kith Wins)

Hmmm the frog vs the snake. In nature this would be no contest, but the attacks of both fighters are strong. However this time, much like in nature, the frog is no match for the snake. Round 1; Point Kith, 1 flag Kith, 0 flags Ariel The dragon breaths out a ball of flame and sets it floating...

Kagan Vs. Shard....(Thanks Vanor and Sollir) (Shard Bests the White Belt))

heh it's tempting to take up your chalange, but I doubt you'd want to fight someone as far above you as I am.

Ariel Eastwind Vs. Kith.....(Vanor Judging)....(Kith Wins)

The dragon listens to the two insults closely. Hmm, gassy mothers, usless farmland and glaring guards does is not quite so insulting as teaching with no merits, pig like fathers, and bad fruit. The insult round goes to ariel, who may set the lenth and other terms of this fight. The dragon...

    Darkwolf defeats Vanor (Thanks Sollir)

Vanor bows to the judge and to Darkwolf Well fought and well judged. He then mounts up on Spirit and rides off to his home once more ooc: Heh I sorta figured I'd lose this match, I was due for a loss... I seem to be developing a patern since the reset, lost my first fight, won 3, lost 1...

    Darkwolf defeats Vanor (Thanks Sollir)

heh actualy yes, that's why I post my moves in blue :) And my judge alter-ego is a real blue dragon. I was hoping to find a good pic of a blue dragon for my avatar, but couldn't find anything that worked size wise.

    Darkwolf defeats Vanor (Thanks Sollir)

Vanor leaps into the air, and kicks out with both feat at Darkwolfs head. On landing he stoicly accepts whatever attack he might use and absorbs it, disapating the energy of the strike. The owl obliterates the steppes; absorbs the pain of the wyrm and effortlessly averts the energy of the river!

    Darkwolf defeats Vanor (Thanks Sollir)

ooc: This should be interesting :) New hand, 1 flag left... I techinaly should go first this round, last round was Darkwolfs turn to go first, but I went ahead and posted anyway. The owl obliterates the steppes; absorbs the pain of the wyrm and effortlessly averts the energy of the river...

Path Distribution Update (as of now by the registration thread)

I said that because in YB 1.0 it was always used to change the location of the match to their sig location, when they had a move with it, in there. Altho I guess now with the new generator basing a round on day/location is less common. And yes Sneaky Trick is a left over from YB 1, but that...

Dirty Trick + Strat Match = Stupid Trick

I agree that holy day shouldn't grant a auto win for the round. The same idea was tried out with the sash fighters in 1.0 and no one cared for it. It seems to me, that making Holy Day work like Chi strike would be best. It only works if it's used in the first move of the round.
