I finally got a babysitter and was able to catch this with my wife. At the end there was applause, and I agree with most here: it was an excellent movie.
Good was the fact that they mentioned that by traveling back in time Spock/Nero created an alternate universe that we get to see unfold in...
There were a few that qualified as "local", but they've since closed or were comic/manga type stores that have since gotten rid of their gaming sections. The closest shop that sells RPG materials aside from Barnes and Noble or Borders is primarily a cigar and magazine shop that has a few...
I play a character in a Golden Age game who's only power is Gadgets. Pre-planning helps a lot to keep the flow going. If you do go that route it is best to keep a few on tap.
Ditto what has been said about Action Points. As a player I tend to max out Luck whenever possible. As a DM, don't...
Yeah.
By rights Danko should be missing a few inches off the top, but I'm sure we'll get a retcony flashback next episode where Sylar talks to him in his apartment (which would explain the door is ajar alarm he didn't perviously have) in which Sylar offers to hunt down people, most likely...
I think turning to solid ice is another manifestation of her powers, much as we've seen other heroes like Matt learn to do new things with their powers. The fact that she was conveniently standing over a drain at the time means we'll be seeing her again. Interesting how Noah struggled to hold it...
Not a bad episode, I guess.
I think the idea that Ma Patrelli is working with Micah and possibly Molly to direct people is pretty neat. I'd like to see more of the Hatian, as I really liked his character.
Speaking of characters, Parkman's player should have bought more ranks in...
I pointed out the plot hole of them being on the run from the US government yet able to easily leave the country to my wife, who just sort of shrugged. What I found more implausible is that without Hiro's teleporting ability, how did they get to the exact place they needed to be in India so...
Double-plus agreed. When Sylar left the kid looking gobsmacked as he drove off, I thought "Great, finally the old Sylar is back" but alas it was not to be.
I did like the conversation about Sylar being a serial killer, though.
Ah, resurrection technology: how the President avoids snuffing it from the series long illness she's had.
Good episode. Interesting side story about the mighty Battlestar falling apart. I think it is forgotten that she was a museum piece on the way to the scrap yard when the series started...
Zarek lead a failed coup and was executed by the military. He gets to go out as a revolutionary and martyr. Think back to the prior episode where Adama threatened to expose him as a corrupt politician. This way he dies with his carefully crafted image intact.
From Astro City there are Black Rapier, Cleopatra II, MPH of the Honor Guard. Jack-in-the-Box; the original, second and third have all been black men. The Blue Knight too, though he's more a vigilante than hero.
