    Morrus gets married today!

It was great to meet you guys. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the usernames when we chatted - can you remind me who is who (other than Al, who I remember is Al...)? (I'm Liam - the one without the local accent...)

    If money were no object

Well, my biggest gaming expenses are a) Gencon and b) gas to get to and from the game, so my million would go on a) First Class flights and Embassy Suite Penthouse rooms and b) a Porsche 918 Spyder (718BHP and 74 US MPG).

No - just a big, black space. And it's not that grim oop North ;) I'm using IE7.0 on Windows XP Pro 2002 SP3, if that helps your developer.

    Sherlock

I've only seen the 3rd episode, and liked the 90 minute format. It gave them space to develop the story, and didn't interrupt the flow like two 45 minute episodes would have done.

Are there Fun/Unique/Interesting Differences in American vs. UK gaming sensibilities?

The United Kingom of Britain & Northern Ireland. 3 constituent countries: Enlgand, Wales & Scotland. 1 province: Northern Ireland. IoM, etc are crown dependencies, IIRC. I always get confused by them. I do know that most of the IoM has no speed limits, so I want to go back over there :) I...

Are there Fun/Unique/Interesting Differences in American vs. UK gaming sensibilities?

lol! Yeah, change UK to GB, and it would be more accurate. OK, GB minus the West of Scotland.

Hobby games and the lack of time.

Similar story here. We play Monday night, because no-one has anything scheduled that night. The last "bonus" weekend game was over a year ago. Less prep time means more reliance on modules for us. Fortunately, we rotate games, so people have plenty of time to prep till their turn to GM comes...

You weren't in Alenda's "Halfling Muskateers" game at Gencon 2008 when I came out with "Bonjour y'all!" ;)

Going to GenCon Indy for the first time

Ah well, you'll be used to the "firm" questioning then. :) You'll have a fantastic time. I really wish I'd been able to make it this year. Definitely aiming for next year. One final warning - if you see either of these two men, run:

Going to GenCon Indy for the first time

Another tip for you - when security at the airport you arrive in the US ask you why you've come here, tell them straight away that you're "going to Gencon, a convention for games like Dungeons and Dragons and boardgames". When I said that I was going "on vacation", the officer stared at me and...
