I like Pun-Pun as a thought experiment :). But I really have to meet a DM who, in a serious game, would allow this to happen. And a "but it is in the rules" answer doesn't count with me. The rules are there to facilitate gaming. Pun-Pun doesn't meet that criterion.

Tékumel: Empire of the Petal Throne is a really good fantasy RPG. The setting is one of the classics, but the authors produced a nice implementation of GoO's Tri-stat system for it. It's definitely worth a look, if you don't mind it's not d20.

I do not doubt this. I just mentioned minis, because they are rarely used in other RPGs than D&D. Savage Worlds is one of those others.
