Yeah, I'd tend to agree. Given the path of the adventure, they can't get much farther as they need to deal with Alastor Land. And it's likely that they'll check out the remaining section just to be thorough. Overall, I see no harm in letting their creativity win the day in this case.

My vote is for P.E.E.P.S. - Piratecat's Exceptionally Evil Peep Shooter. A first person shooter where you alone have to fight off rabid Story Hour fans who have become zombies after eating P-kitty's year-old peeps.

For stats, I'm also a wholehearted supporter of NPC Designer. Previous to that, I used Jamis Buck's generator, and this is tons more advanced. For the overall direction of the game, I leave it very open-ended to appease my sense of improv. I like it when the players suggest courses of action...

While playing or DMing, I usually grab two full sets (color choice dependant upon mood and character/setting) and a handful of d6s. My oddity is never using the numbered d6 from the sets, but instead using my Lidless Eye d6s with pips. And yes, I have the traditional Crown Royal bag of Doom.
