    The KIingons Are Here!

Does it include the Discovery era, and if so does it try to explain the vast difference in klingons from that short period? Interested to know.

    How Expensive is Too Expensive?

I just grabbed it! It's a steal, really. But most importantly....telling my players about it. There is now an actual chance I can get them to play now that they can get the PDFs for a reasonable cost.

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Jeremy Crawford on D&D Races Going Forward

I play those retroclones, too. They most definitely do not prohibit you from playing the game as you wish. I didn't even have "exclusively evil orcs" in 1981 when I started gaming, one of the first NPCs my players adopted was an orc in Keep on the Borderlands when I introduced the moral quandary...

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Jeremy Crawford on D&D Races Going Forward

Independent of the real world, ime no one has played D&D "straight" with intrinsically evil races as a constant for decades. The game written to accommodate making your own world as morally and culturally diverse for the many species within is a good thing.

Burn Bryte is an RPG by Roll20

I'm interested, but I'm with aaronm....Roll20 needs more compendium rulesets and resources for games out there. I'd love to see content for all sorts of games currently missing on Roll20 or only supported in the charactermancer, and would spend $50 on support for the games I have first...

Pathfinder 2E Kingmaker Adventure Path's Cover Art

    I did not realize this was a PF2 product....sold!

    How Expensive is Too Expensive?

Agreed. But the issue here is that it can be difficult to parse of where Invisible Sun falls without being able to expose yourself to it. I held off for the longest time for this reason before taking the plunge on the Black Cube. I ended up being very happy with a product that was right up my...

    How Expensive is Too Expensive?

Something consistently overlooked here is a fact that you might not realize without owning a copy (physical or otherwise) already: Invisible Sun is actually a four book set. If these were individually packaged at $25 apiece then we would not be having this discussion because the cost would be...

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder Bestiary 2 Preview

Yeah but then I wouldn't be able to play my favorite game, Pathfinder 2nd Edition. So I am glad things went down as they did; PF1E fans have a complete ruleset, D&D 5E fans have a complete ruleset, and now PF2E fans can have their optimal ruleset that is not too crunchy and not too lite...it's...

The Fumble: Game Master Secretly Plotting Against Online Players Who Don't Use Their Mute Button

Both my groups migrated to Roll20. Got 6 one night and 5 the other, and as GM my main issue has been me narrating something with my cat yelling at me loudly.....

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder 2e: Actual Play Experience

Paizo not including more adventure paths on Roll20 is a shame. I think you're off the mark on the support level, though....I've been using Roll20 and am 8 sessions in with our ongoing pathfinder 2E game, and for the first time we are using maps and tokens thanks to how easy it is with Roll20...

Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder 2e: Actual Play Experience

Very interesting....my group has has the opposite experience, although I will concede that it probably has to do with the fact that my group gets a lot of whatit needs out of Pathfinder 2E, and the perks of 2E (which include the action economy, more fully realized heightened spell mechanic, and...

    Starfinder Starfinder: Near Space Review

I embraced Starfinder when I realized it was conceptually much closer to Spelljammer and a spiritual successor to Dragonstar; when I stopped trying to make Starfinder "Traveller, but D20" and instead treated it as "Pathfinder, but with laser guns in spaaaaaace" it started working really well for...

D&D General Hilarious typos in D&D books

One neither peers into nor (wisely) pees into a hot wind. But I could totally see the miners being minors.

EN World About 'Fake' Promotional Posts

I think you're taking the wrong lessons here (well, took the wrong lessons). I strongly believe Kickstarters will work better if you review your intent from a consumer's perspective. You not only need to believe in your product but you need to look at your product --a difficult task-- through...

When You Can't Tell Who's an NPC

A lot of the LARPS and other games which presume player conflict as a valid option can pull this off. As an aside, it's funny but the bots in Fortnite allowed my son to finally get a Victory Royale. He's 8, so that's a big deal.

    Mad at Paizo?

I'm a fan too, but agree completely....the aesthetic could use a shakeup.
