Today I received my copy of the Pathfinder Bestiary from Amazon UK. All well and good you might think. However, I have still yet to receive my copy of Pathfinder RPG that I pre-ordered in December 2008. Sigh . . . :(

This news really saddens me :( Like many players of 1E, for me, Roger was a real inspiration . . .

I bought the "package" as we have played Midnight in the past. The movie was OK - most disappointing was the fact that it's not a complete story (a part 1 with no part 2 yet?). Also no HD version yet - there is a download link but it doesn't actually have a real file attached (at least not yet?).

I feel your pain :( I still haven't received my copy from Amazon UK and I pre-ordered it in December! Sigh . . . as you say, at least people who have received their copies are saying good things about it!

You could argue that this is in keeping with the spirit of simulating D&D - as O-Chul isn't a member of the OotS (i.e. not a player character) he shouldn't be allowed to have such a dramatic effect on the story (i.e. on Xykon).

It does feel as if O-Chul has become a player character rather than an NPC . . .

My recollection is that survival wasn't too much of an issue - may be I was a soft DM ;) However I remember UK2 - Danger at Dunwater having several TPKs just enroute to the lizardman lair!
