I think that having the site contain all of the essential information (date, time, place) would be good... but I'm keen to keep the planning over here at ENW. However, I could be convinced otherwise. :)

We picked up the www.dcgameday.com domain a couple of days ago. For now it just points to this forum, but - eventually - it'd be nice to have a nice little setup with the dates and locations for area gamedays. :)

I'll have to do some sleuthing to try to find a good place in the area that can accomodate a large group... I do love Chadwicks...

I'm contimplating trying to make reservations at the Friendship Heights Maggianos for dinner that night... it's expensive, but it'd be a really fun way to end the gameday. LOTS of food and good conversation... Any other good ideas for places to do a big dinner that night?

I don't know. I'm unlikely to play in an evening session because I want to have the freedom to socalize/have dinner with folks...

How are we going to make sure that people KNOW about the DC gameday? Who is willing to take posters to their local FLGS? Is anyone at all connected with any local gaming clubs? University gaming clubs? I'll be sending out an email to the American University Gaming Club tonight or tomorrow...

I want EVERYONE to experience Culper Ring because it's just THAT GOOD... but, because I have played it, I'm going to vote for either Masters of the Hollow Earth or Dread... both of those games sound wicked-awesome-fun. :)
