I think this is a very true statement, although I don't know if Mouseferatu was directly involved with writing the 4th edition rules or not. I don't know if their group gets to playtest the stuff he designs (for publication), or if some kind of NDA prevents that sort of thing.

The designers have mentioned they pay attention to consumer comments and feedback. From what I have heard and read, it sounds like the Monster Manual IV feedback had a direct impact on the design of MMV, as an example. The designers working on 4e play D&D, work on D&D, have their own home...

My group meets every other Saturday. We start at 1:30 p.m., break for dinner at 5 or 6 p.m. for an hour, and then go back to playing until 11 p.m. or midnight...on rare occasion, we go until 1 a.m.

This is unfortunate. I hope WotC remembers Mac users for this set-up.
