    What balances the Warforged?

The 'forged aren't exactly what you could call good infiltrators. 'Hey Johnson, isn't that one of those Cannith house killing machines?' 'Yeah, wonder what it's doing over here.' 'Dunno, but I say it's dead within the first five rounds.' 'Look Jefferson, we got Heinrich downstairs, if it lasts...

Toughness - How many hit points to make it worthwhile?

Not nearly so fun. Besides XP penalties should do for most builds that want to dip like that.

    Collegiate wizard, feedback please!

Okay, this class just reeks of the moldy limburger, but that aside I'll see what I can do to save it, or at least it's flavor. First the requirements are minor, can be had by 5th with ease, especially if you plan on giving away Collegiate Wizard. As a GM I generally dislike strong PrCs that...

    What balances the Warforged?

Chiming in a bit late here... Warforged are meant to be the 'grunts' of the millitary. Given that I don't see much use in spending time giving them languages of smaller footprint than Common (or the creators' language when Common's not plausible). When storming a village there's little need...

Toughness - How many hit points to make it worthwhile?

My Ranger/Fighter/Barbarian would love that feat!

    Collegiate wizard, feedback please!

Don't have a lot of time, but I'd scrap and start over from square one. I'll post details Sunday most likely.

    Lazy adventurer?

Good ideas all! Stat wise I'm looking at cleric if I go caster at all (18 Wis, 16 Str Dex Con, 10 Int, 8 Cha). Currently the spot/listen monkey at 3rd level (centaur 3) with 13 each.

    Gaining AoO

The Warblade's broken! Kidding, I've never seen the book, and wont look till it goes into the LGCS. I'm glad you found Robilar's Gambit to be what you were looking for. Look forward to seeing more posts from you.

    Gaining AoO

Though the requirements are higher I think Robilar's Gambit achieves greater effects than Karmic Strike.

    Lazy adventurer?

Can I use the ring to shoot arrows or fling daggers?

    Question....

If liquid could put the kaibosh on fire elementals I'd say a potion's worth would do wonders against a fine or diminuative fire elemental. Sadly the smallest they have stats for is small IIRC.

    Lazy adventurer?

I've got a character that I've decided to make very lazy. Now I've got him a Hand of the Mage for most minor tasks, and horeshoes of the zephyr (he's a centaur), so he doesn't have to swim. What else can I do to make sure he doesn't have to lift a finger outside of combat? Actually, anything...

unfortunately not Finally settled, sunder and attacks of opp

It would take Centaur Jesus to make this particular bit of bickering to stop. Unfortunately I'm still a few KGP away from horseshoes of the zephyr.

Saving throws for unattended magic items

Reminds me of someone's lust for evard's naughty tentacles... He would cast the spell before knowing what was in the area, killed hostages and friends that way.

Shirt of Lesser Vigor vs. Shirt of Stabilize

The DMG?!?! Who would allow such an obviously broken supplement into their game? They have stats for weapons with enhancement bonuses and armors too!

A Variant Sorcerer With Personalized Flavor

6 of 10 true dragons eventually get 9th level spells if they manage to live to Great Wyrm. That's 12 centuries and a minimum of 37 HD to get what a sorcerer may learn within a human lifetime and 18 HD. At the edges of human lifespan your more powerful dragons are casting 3rd level spells. But...

A Variant Sorcerer With Personalized Flavor

I'd be hesitant to call dragons masters of any kind of magic honestly. Though their expanded options in I believe it was draconomicon makes their magic much more interesting.

A Variant Sorcerer With Personalized Flavor

Here's an odd thought. Why not make the sorcerer a spont. caster able to select his primary spell list, and then able to add spells from other lists as he progresses? Would make for a decidedly more adaptable class, and could potentially freak out people whenever they see a guy dressed in...

    Collegiate wizard, feedback please!

Which is why I don't like most full caster PrCs Of course the Alienist is a documented case of a PrC that punishes you for all the caster levels you get, but most of the time it's you get the spells and more frosting for your cake.
